I notice those too but at least he's pushing the trees away from them. Might be the reason for clearing that area.

Telephone cable. That Kubota needs 1000 more lbs on the 3pt. That box blade was no where near enough. Would not have been near as spectacular video, but would have been safer, and more work would have been done. Would have been nicer for the front axle and driveline too.

Maybe 800-1000 lbs in the rear tires too.

Still seems like an unnecessary risk to be thrashing trees around in them. Cutting them at 4' still leaves plenty to leverage while pushing them over.

I think Ted was going nuts to prove a point: the grapple is plenty tough. I seriously doubt he does that unless Travis is shooting a video for marketing/educational purposes.

Tires are filled and around 1,000 pounds on the 3pt hitch.

When open it is a no-no but if closed it is not such a problem. Still, it is always preferred to push with middle lower tines.

Lots of the activity shown in that footage is not recommended. That is true impromptu Wicked Grapple testing.

We need to know what the product can take. Obviously, it's a lot!

For the future, you might want to put an overlay on that video pointing out this is torture testing the grapple and not a recommended technique. Most of us get that but I can easily see that a newbie might think this is just normal tractoring technique. It is pretty normal for Bobcats to be used like that but then they are built for it.

On our official videos that are edited and all that good stuff, we would. This was just a fun, quick video that wasn't even planned. He didn't even know I was filming it at first.

Ted held a World Record in NHRA drag racing for 6 years. He started NASCAR racing at Hickory Motor Speedway in the Budweiser Cup, won 11 out of 13 races, 12 pole positions, Track Champion twice in Limited Sportsman, Track Champion in late model and National Champion for NARA in 2000. After winning everything that could be won in 2000, he sold everything except for his toolbox and war wagon at one big auction.
Soon after, he went to work on EverythingAttachments.com and the rest is history!

Ted works hard and plays hard. Most of his friends that he beat for over 10 years at Hickory Speedway, including Earnhardts, are still on the Cup Circuits and he's still friends with all of them. The only people that didn't like his racing were his Mom and Dad, who questioned him every week about how much the trophy cost. :laughing:
