I'm sure that man wouldn't be you. On a lighter note my hough 60 will out perform your tinker toy tractors 10 to1

While a Hough 60 is probably a great machine, this is a compact tractor forum.

If we’ve got tinker toy tractors than he has a tinker toy loader. The only logical comparison is to compare within their own series. When you do that both machines are at the lower end of the size spectrum. As far as I’m concerned compact tractors are far more useful then ancient loaders.

Picture? We’ve all posted pictures of what we can do but, so far, you’re just talking thru your hat.

I don't know why everybody's got to have these fancy grapple buckets they can't do any more than a pair of pallet Forks on it the front of a tractor with a grapple I think that is a better method anyways. So why do you need to have so many more tools than what you actually need. Pallet Forks on a tractor can pick up many more things than just pallets they they do a great job with the Sawmills and loading logs

They look a lot scarier than my pallet forks. :):)

This is a forum for tractors and this is a tractor. And a front end loader

Can your loader Bush hog a field. Nope. Can it till a garden. Nope. Can it drag logs out of the woods without massive destruction. Nope. Can it set a pallet of a truck and set it in a garage. Doubtful. Can you quickly change between a pallet fork grapple and a bucket. Not without a pile of money. Can you load it behind your pickup and take it to your brothers for a quick job. Nope. Can you find parts easily. Doubtful. Do you need your tool box and a 5 gallon bucket of oil to do anything. Yes. Who really got the short end of the stick here?

I can't talk for Andy, but when "I" was 14, my dad owned a drag line crane, a dozer and a dump truck, along with farm tractors... I bet you I already had more equipment running experience than MOST of the guys on this site do today, so I don't think "age" has anything to do with it.

BTW, I got my first off farm job working for another farmer when I was 11. Yes eleven, that would be "child abuse" today!
