grapple size for 4035?

Mahindra offers a 5' [450lb] and a 6' [650lb] grapple for my tractor. Each is at the cutoff for my horsepower. 40 max of the 5' and 40 minimum for the 6'. I currently lift pine trees in the 80' length 10" diameter range for cutting firewood. I use clamp on forks that are getting old like me. I would like to use the grapple for many projects but need to be sure the weight is ok for lifting the trees. The 6' grapple adds 200lbs and that might be critical I just do not know. Anyone with experience lifting large weight with the 6' grapple on a 40horse.
