25hp primarily for mowing?

Personally, I wouldn't use a finish mower in a pasture. Damage and wear and tear will be really high if it is in fact a finish mower.

That's why the 4' rotary mower (aka Bush Hog) is on my B2601 currently.

The model I'm considering is more of a hybrid, Woods list it as "rough cut and finish". Looks like the blades are more finish mower style but on a pivot like a rotary cutter.

You will want to make sure the frame and skirts are built to rotary mower specs so it doesn't wear out quickly. Just because it may have a stump jumper doesn't mean it won't bend or break when you hit something hidden in your pasture.

Tractor was delivered this morning, my son is picking up the mower for me this afternoon and should have it here this evening.

I had to test out the grapple with some trees that where cut yesterday to make room for the shop.

Once you have a grapple, you wonder how you survived without it!!!!

Take it easy until the seals are fully broken in.

rScotty also told me to go slow over the bumps and dips in my fields and my tractor would stay tighter longer. It was great advice.

Didn’t really get to play yesterday aft the initial 30 minutes. My sons trailer lights weren’t working so he couldn’t pickup the mower, I’ll pick it up today.

I should have a big smile this weekend though.

Everything got mowed this weekend, tractor runs great. This morning I cut up a big pine that had fallen in one of the pastures and cleaned it all up with the grapple.

That is great, grapples really are awesome! How are you liking the cab?

The cab is fantastic, mowed for hours and wasn’t covered in dust and pollen when I finished. Also using the AC since it’s been warm here.
