Seems to me that you have a hydraulic power source readily available for just a little bit of homework and research. I would caution against going with any 12v actuated system when you have hydraulic available. They will be much slower and much less powerful.

I had a electric 12v ram on my curtis plow which I changed to hydraulic because the electric ram was both weak and slow. Just more info.
