This is my design so far. I'm still working on proportions and I'm trying to make sure I have enough thickness in the right spots. This is modeled after multiple grapples I've been able to find and I think it's the right size. I struggle a bit with the overall lower tine length and the total jaw opening. The outer tines will be a little different and will be slightly thicker in width. The cylinder bracket I'll have to fabricate based on what I'm seeing after it's built. I planning on using a 2.5"x6" cylinder.

I think this are good looking tines. More important than steel thickness is gussets. My grapple has them on every time. And they are stout.
