Grand L dash (-1, -2, -3) differences

Can anyone tell me the differences between the three different 'dash' models for the Grand Ls? I know the -3 has a swivel seat and a different (electric PTO) but that's about all I know. I'm planning on buying a new 4240 but came across a 5440 with less than 20 hours on it for a little less money than new. It's a dash -1. Questions I have are can you tell the year by this and if so when did Kubota switch to -2 and -3? How far does the seat rotate? Is it just for entry and exit or can it turn far enough so you can watch your 3pt hitch, say running a box blade?

I'm not sure if I really need the extra HP but since it's not a larger tractor more HP is usually better (until you go to fill it up). But the 5440 has top n tilt and in the long run could be worth more years down the road if I decide to replace it. I figure tractor year isn't as important as hours and condition.

On the -3, they cleaned up the side curtains a little bit to allow the seat to swivel about 15 degrees. The pto is now tied into the anti-stall circuit and you can also get a Kubota backhoe on the GrandL -3.

you can get backhoes on the -1 -2 grand L. Its just different mounting frames.

The emmisionaization changed on the -1. They also moved the auto throttle control. I forget -2.. they where only made for a few months, -3 is current, and has the seat changes and PTO sensor.

Sorry, I should have said the Kubota backhoe is now available on the Grand L40-3 series, cab models.
