Thanks everyone for your responses. You've given me some great suggestions and a lot to think about. Now that I actually have my BX25 and can get some seat time I have to make some decisions.
If you have just an acre, then I suggest that you rent a box scraper from an equipment rental company. Some tractor dealers will also rent out their attachments. In my area, you can rent a box scraper for about $30 a day. It would be far less expensive to rent the equipment than to purchase it given the relatively small area to be worked.
