I guess I don't understand why you want to re-engineer something that already exists??? A snowblower mounted on a truck or tractor, powered by either the vehicle's engine or a separate dedicated engine for the blower already exists.

Is this just a fun thing to do? If so, I'm with ya! :thumbsup:

If not, I can't sit around and watch someone poke themselves in the eye with a sharp stick.

None of the existing ones costing anything this side of my wallet's even horizon pump the snow 100 feet or more laterally, a design objective that was in principle reached with the current rig in 2009. I want to improve on that performance while also devising a much less intervention-intensive i.e. turnkey rig
