That’s not 3000 lbs and that is about as high as they get. It is also lightly optioned and two wheel drive. The heavy duty payload package also precludes a lot of options. That truck would make a good tow vehicle and would handle a lot of fifth wheel campers.
The reason I harp on this is because on the F150 forums there are an amazing number of people who come on there thinking they have these huge payload and tow ratings when they often have a truck with max tow but a payload of less than 1500 lbs. They have truck that by the time you put people in the cab it wil not allow a hitch weight of even a 1000 lbs.
