Nice set-up,have the same tractor myself.You will, in time be able to tell by the sound of the Hydro. when the park brake is still engaged.I know,done it a 100 times myself.Good luck,you will enjoy that tractor.

MReeter, just what I've been thinking. I rarely use my park brake, so when I do use it, I usually forget to release it, but the instant I touch the hydro pedal, I know it. I'll bet I never move 6" with the brake set.

Have to agree with Bird. After you get a feel for the tractor, you'll wonder why its working so hard to move, and then (after you look around to make sure no one sees) you'll realize what's going on. Of course, if someone does see you, casually say "Yep, the parking brake tests OK".

Same here. It's the noise the hydro makes that gives it away - like it's screaming at me for leaving the brake on./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I'm in SE PA - not a whole lot different from Long Island in terms of expense. Just about sold my soul to get what little I have! Am planning on the Pocono's cabin thing in a few years. Congrats on the place and the tractor - and yes, I too have left the brake on. Couldn't really tell though!!
