Got a new hat last week

My wife and I stopped in at the local Kubota dealership last week to pickup the BX from getting the front tires tubed and to do a few other things. While we were there my wife asked for a hat as she said that it seems silly to mow on a Kubota while wearing a Deere hat.
Has anyone seen this "model" hat before? The owner said that he got it at a Kubota dealers conference recently and gave it to her as he was out of stock on the other ones.

No, it it more like one of those trees that jumps out behind you when backing up

I got one almost like it but mine is black instead of brown like yours.

Not one like that but my dealer gave my three boys each a youth sized Kubota ballcap and me two regular ones. The boys and their hats are still inseperable!

That brings up an excellent question. When I bought my JD the dealer gave me a hat and I received two in the mail from JD. When I bought my Kubota recently... Only thing I got was a payment book!

What gives? I now mow with my Kubota while wearing a green hat.

Don't know. I always bring up freebies during the negotiations and signing for no other reason than to keep them off track. Plus, everyone likes free hats and junk!

Was it an official Kubota cap, or a dealership cap? I have been told that Kubota doesn't make a youth sized cap.

I may wear a deere hat in to negotiations and see what they offer....I would want the Kubota hat with the flames....

if you want a kubota cap all you gotta do is go to the dealer you bought from an ask for a cap.i was talking to my dealer bout something the other day,an i mentioned i needed another cap.an he says when i come that come pick 1 up.

As a complete novice to tractors and tractor negotiations, I did not even know there were hats to be had when I bought mine.

Fortunately, my taste in dealers was right on target and when they delivered my tractor the driver handed me a bag of coozies, key rings and a hat. He apologized that they were out of the black hats and only had the orange hats on hand. I didn't mind since it was christmas time in July...... I had a tractor under the tree and a stuffed stocking to boot! :thumbsup:

Now you tell me. I thought I had to buy a GR2120 to get a decent hat. At least that's what I told my wife :laughing:

Haven't run the little tractor yet, but the hat's nice!

They do! The one my boys got from my dealer are the Weekender cap. Looks good.

My dealer handed out hats, key chains and a calendar pad with ink pens. I have a real good neighbor who is also a good friend, and he is a John Deere man all the way. I put one of the Kubota hats in his mailbox and dropped another hat off at the NC Farm Bureau where his wife works. The last word that I got was that he gave his hat to one of his grandkids and, I did see his wife wearing her hat one time when they both rode their horses over one day. She told me later that she still had it and might wear it again whenever they go to their JD dealer together and see if that results in a better deal on whatever they are in the market to buy.

I must have paid too much because my Kubota dealer gave both my wife and me caps and rather heavy (after all this is Northern MN) jackets. JD did give me an offical JD Owner cap when I got my JD lawn tractor but darn these are nice jackets.

:laughing: I was gonna say I must have spent way too much for mine I got in Issiquah, Wa. The salesman threw in a spare front tire n rim, enuff filters that I still have yet to buy one other than a fuel filter and am over 400 hours. And a couple of hats! Here I thought it was the packages of crab I gave him.

Forget the free hats, I told my dealer to throw in some oil filters. There were two filters in a bag on the seat when they delivered my tractor. Now that's free stuff I can use!

I get hats, filters and fluids. That's more free stuff I can use.
