Hi,
Yesterday I watched our 2009 CT445 go down the road on it’s happy new owner’s trailer.

I know we shouldn’t be sad when things leave us. But I was. Since 2014, aside from a dead battery, that machine never let us down. Maintained a rugged 4/10 mile driveway, snow and grade. We tried to regain control of my parents 50 acres. Pulled out firewood, projects for friends and family. Always worked.

2 years ago we sold the parents place. Now left with 3 acres (1/2 of it grass, the big tractor has mostly sat since then. A little snow and boxblade work is about it.

Sitting isn’t good. Between that and the 445 being too heavy and or big for the work that needs doing now, we decided to sell it.

Now the hunt begins for small….

Still a little sad. Big part of or life for almost 10 years.

Someone else is getting a nice tractor!
I have a CT225. Bought it with 150hrs. Now getting close to 1000.
A new battery, and glow plugs.
Broken bucket cylinder nut, it was my fault.
Still a great tractor. My work horse!
Great story! Thanks for sharing!
