Good price for a welded sub frame ?

You've got to measure and drill holes, mount and adjust test fit, plus if you have to order the whole stick of metal, you are going to have to eat the cost of overage if you donr iventory it. Its more than a simplistic view of what it costs in material.

I am not without talent.
Yes, I may have offended some by my cavalier comments on the time of a true professional. By some are passing judgement without knowing anything of me or my background. You sir, are clueless.

This is not my first welding job. Its not a job I am proficient in, but am no slouch.

My comments have nothing to do with your welding talent and everything to do with your perception of what is involved in fabricating as a business venture.

I understand that people need to make a living. I am well aware of the overhead costs of being a small business owner. I am a small business owner myself.
That said, as someone that needs any service, including mine, we all have a choice to use their service or do the work ourselves. Since I have the ability to do it myself, that is the option I am choosing.

Now to the heart of your response. Not to be flippant, but as a consumer, someone's overhead is not my concern. Its value for what I am getting that interest me.
