Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #214,081
Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 10.7C and it's presently 18.7C, fairly clear with high winds (warning issued). I'm expecting rain this arvo... I've taken the flagpole down as my windows are rattling. 😟 I've already lost power, for about a half hour, this A.M.

'Town run' yesterday was successful in all respects and the clearing of the geranium patch/garden took most of the arvo. The majority of the cuttings were disposed of (an entire 'ute load') and all that's left are to gather up the leaves/remains, again into the ute's bed. It's much too windy to do that right now.

So, it looks like a 'sit tight' kind of day. (y)

Drew, according to Fox News, the Northern Lights will be making an encore this/your evening/night. Hope that you can experience it.

That's about it, take care all.
Toyota called and they will have a 2026 Tacoma, my color - Bronze oxide, arriving in January.
The US Toyota Tacoma is my Toyota Hilux.

Mine is an '07 4.0litre V6, 'extended cab' with a 'full box'. Still going strong.

I hold the door for everyone. Young and old. If someone does it for me. I say thank you.
Me too.

Punta Cana
Have some rum pirate drinks for me.

And he cuts his own hair with the dog clippers and a 1/4” comb. Just run it all over my face and head!
Speaking of dogs, I have a client that has two standard poodles that travel with her, they were her late husband’s hunting dogs, and apparently very good ones.
Standard poodles are great dogs. They had a national retriever competition here in our county that lasted almost 10 days. Many owners have multiple dogs with fancy trailers or custom truck beds. While I have seen poodles in years past, I didn't see any this year, but I maybe only saw 5% of the dogs. All were black labs. Amazing how they work by commands.

Yes, interval walking. 3 min regular pace and 3 minutes all out fast walking X 6.

Good morning! 52˚F heading to the low 80s, S wind clear skies.
Yesterday was a productive day. Finished touch-up painting of the rustic sponge 2 color in the bathroom. It was originally painted to look like old tuscan plaster. I was able to duplicate it after removing the grab bar from the wall and relocating the toilet paper holder.. My wife said the grab bar made her feel old.

Then the pool robot decided it did not want to work any longer. Called the manufacture and it was still under warranty and they sent a shipping label for me to mail it to them today.

You should custom order a 2 color rustic tuscan bronze oxide color! Don, I was thinking about your Ford (as I saw one the other day) and wondering how you liked it? I guess shopping for a new truck would be the answer.

I need to take down a tree in my mother's back yard. An estimate by a supposedly reputable guy was $3000. I have a towable lift I can rent for a weekend for $300. I have my pole saw, and my buddy has a Stihl telescoping saw. I would have to cut small branches at a time and "whittle" it down. Could do trunks too or maybe do them later.
It is leaning towards the house and is a Vee double trunk. And the roots keep growing into her sewer drain pipe clogging it.

I got way behind again. Happy Bday Scooter belatedly.
Prayers for our team, our country, and for peace in the world.

On my half ton SUV, the carbon purge canister has bursted internally and sent carbon pellets down many of the fuel lines, some all the way up to the solenoid at the engine.
New parts on order. It was a bee otch dropping the tank by myself with about 8-10 gallons in it, using a transmission jack. The really hard part was getting off a particular fuel line connector under the driver's seat area. I was about to curse the engineers. Why do they make about forty eleven types of connectors for all these things? Anyway this is another fine example of pollution controls that cost an owner $$$ to repair. All this thing does is accept a wee bit of fumes while the motor is turned off and the solenoid/pump shuts off. Then later when you start it, it opens up and lets this wee bit of fumes to get burned through the engine. Meanwhile, my fuel lines are full of activated charcoal pellets. I'm blowing from both ends to try and get them out. I believe I have them out, but I'm seeing on a video that I should maybe pull the fuel pump out of the tank, drain it, and wipe it out to get the beads out of the tank....Arghh.

The only pollution controls I like are fuel injection controlled by an O2 sensor with the catalytic converters. They can have their AutoStop bull corn.

Good night all.

Coffee is brewing. 24° with clear skies tis morning. Heading to 49° with plenty of sunshine. Decided to cleanup wood next to my house yesterday. Lots of tree limbs down. Got it about 1/2 done. After grocery shopping in the morning. Will work on the cleanup some more today. Need to windrow leaves in back field. Oil changes are on hold while I compete these outside chores.

Good morning, the low temp is 32 and going up to 37°F. Wind W 8 mph. 40% chance of flurries.
We got about 1/2" overnight.

I wont need to plow this morning, which is a good thing. I've got a quack appointment at 10:15. Then run to the dump. After the dump trot on down to Sundridge and hopefully turn in the paperwork I got the quack to sign off on so I can get the handicap placard for the Dodge.
Then back to SR and the dope store. I'm just about out of Ramipril. That'll be my week of running around.

I'm up way too early this morning, but after I do all the running around I can have a nap.

Have a safe day all

good morning all
warmer morning, 46 and sunny day high in 50's, should be nice
was planning on taking my landlady for a drive today up the Delaware river to Frenchtown,
up NJ side and then back down Pa side. Just to get her out of the house. She is beat up from the end
of chemo, at 84 and quietly mentioned she would enjoy getting her out of the house since she can't drive.
I let her two boys who are in their 50's know I'm taking their mom out, they are super appreciative.
every day is an opportunity for kindness.

not much else planned for today other than cleaning the house.
my vacuum fairy is on vacation...and I sure am tracking the leaves in.

3000 for taking that tree down is at least a thousand high
unless they have to bring in a bucket truck and even
then...I'd get more estimates.
As long as you don't get hurt, and your house doesn't get hurt, I think chipping away at the tree
would work.
alternative you could trench and cut all the roots near the piping. They'll grow back but probably
take a while, if she likes the tree.
