Good evening all. 45ºF for the start, partly cloudy sky, breezy. Windy, 20mph gusting 30, partly cloudy sky, and high temp was 69ºF. Made coffee to start, Grief Share, bike ride, lunch, nap, made hamburger stroganoff for dinner zoom call, load of laundry, prepping for trip.

Drew then engines used on MD 11 had scatter shield on the compressor section, but not on the hot section. My understanding is the shield on the front had to handle one compressor blade. It will take NTSB a while to analyze all the data. Cherry pie al a mode sounds delicious.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 34° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 47° with cloudy skies and West winds. Got Sassy a grooming appointment. That ended up being my project for the day. Plan to get oil changed on tractor today. Then grease FEL and install snowplow.

old barber disappeared, then his replacement, a lady at different barber
in same shopping center, she left too.
So...picked a place called Handsome New Hope.

every barber in town starts at 40 bucks, no bargains here.

then driving up to Harleysville area to have lunch with old friends.
no work getting done at home today

Yesterday was hike and swim for Della...extremely windy, so no one was at the trails...until the way back, saw 13 folks and 6 dogs...including the two largest poodles I've ever seen...multicolored and shaggy with huge Afros. Still a lot of color, but mostly just the oaks and beeches.

Wife came home after two nights babysitting...and then straight to the dentist and doctor appointments...so only saw her a few minutes until after dark.

Good Tractor Morning,
Punta Cana, 75 to start going to 85. Looks like we got hit with the cold front 35% chance of showers today, and the kiddos will be leaving by noon. It will be a tearful goodbye for them but we will be back in Ct in a week and I’m sure they will be with us then

The less than perfect weather will make the departure easier for them hopefully.

Happy to see these people that we elected are finally doing something about the government shutdown
I hope it continues to move through the house.

Not much else to report. Don , do you have any special exercises for for me this year ?

Good morning TBN folks! A breezy 40 degrees here in Houghton MI with some drizzle falling. Predicted high is the same temp as it is now. Breezy enough the boats came off the lake and speaking of lake boats, seems we have a CG buoy tender in the canal this am. If weather allows, I'll add tied those down strips to the floor of our trailer today.
