43 this morning high in 50s no rain here very sunny. Doctors appointment this morning haircut later first one since May.

Did not get much done yesterday stayed close another hard day but cleared up right before bedtime. Have jobs to look at later.

I’m learning things about wells I did not know thanks rswyan.

Dropped letters off at the PO and drove the long way back. A stretch still had leaves in beautiful colors. Wife was pleased with the drive

Stacked a few more loads of firewood

Foot was acting up. Loosening the laces helped some. Really feel old when people hold the door for a long time to let you in

I hold the door for everyone. Young and old. If someone does it for me. I say thank you.

Morning all
Rain just missed us according g to the guage. Did not look outside yet.
Got some sleep last night finally, went to bed early, still in bed.

Need to get truck emission inspection done. Another money grab, as 99.99% of vehicles pass these days. MD jacked up the cost this year, part of spendMoores huge tax increase to fund giveaway programs.

My dentist is dropping my dental insurance plan next year, so I gotta find something else or switch dentist.

Good morning! 40˚F heading to 80˚ with cloudless skies and a South wind.
This weekend was the last weekend of the Fall Festival. I like it when it is real busy so I declined the November dinosaur festival and the Christmas festival. However I do get 8 season passes and will go during Christmas to see how the first year of selling 1/5 of the 200,000 cut-your-own Christmas trees are going and report back.

Nope. This is my monthly shopping trip. Bigger city prices are usually better than small town prices. This includes gas.
It is only 40 miles each way.

Pretty good day yesterday.
I took the carb out and recleaned it. This time with carb cleaner. Checked the float level and got it back on. Took a few cranks then it fired right up.

Did you get the relay installed for the key switch?

Need to get truck emission inspection done. Another money grab, as 99.99% of vehicles pass these days.

Here in PA the emissions inspection consists of connecting the “machine” to the OBD2 port and it basically just checks that all monitors are set and there are no faults.

The state doesn’t really get any money out of it, I think they charge the independent inspection station like $8 for the sticker, and the station charges the consumer what they want, but they had to buy the equipment, training and maintenance on their own.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a huge waste of my money, but here it doesn’t go to the state, as a matter of fact, I bet they lose money administering the program.
