Plans for today...AM stop make 2 vehicle appointments for inspection for next month,Get critter food,if wind in my favor and leaves aren't too wet blow what I can around the house into the woods,if not going to be a ho hum day.

Drew, there was a few metric sockets and wrenches. At least one 10 mm. My neighbor took those. I took a couple nice sets of combination wrenches and a few other tools. There were a lot of specialty tools for engine rebuilding that I already have.

good morning, 55 going to 63 a bit warmer

Brought in firewood and kindlings stored in the copper tub near the stove. Running the mini split on heat for now. No need for the big furnace in the basement

Sorted the sanding tools and supplies. Should have sanded the plywood sheet on the stone wall before hanging it up
Looking for paint left overs but not finding much that has not hardened.
I taking the welding shop project as a challenge to use what I already have on hand

Made a favorite snack for wife. Special Brie cheese with a square of 85 percent dark chocolate and a few Raspberries

Good morning TBN!!
58 this morning. Supposed to be about 70 with low humidity. My kind of day!

I got the foot pad finished on my back up 4 wheeler. Tore a panel off to start looking at the electrics but decided to wait till late in the week. May ride them today.
My son should be here From Fla. in a few hours to celebrate his Birthday. He will only be hare a few hours since it actually a work trip.
Got my new range extender in. Comp. hooked to it right away on it's own. Then got one of my doors connected. Then I spent most of the afternoon getting the second one connected which is puzzling because it's the same opener. Got my cameras and smart plug connected.
Broke down and ordered a new computer. I wouldn't be able to stay off the net with the old one and don't need any security issues. That will probably be a few hours to set it up when it gets here on Wed.
Agenda today will be to do whatever my son wants to do.

Time for a second cup.

I have been looking for this Tractor Plaque that I got at the first Texas get-together we attended in spring of 2005 at Jinman’s place. Very good memories.
Found it while cleaning one of the horse stalls in the animal barn.
Not sure who made them. Maybe TXdon or others remember.
I will be moving it into my back porch.

Found a Eddie Walker post about the memory stone:

Morning all, 54 going to 57 and rain.
Yesterday I got out and cleaned up most of the scrap wood around the splitter.
Still a few larger pieces to move, but now I can get the rounds to the splitter.
I was getting completely swarmed by the black gnats and that made it less fun.

The off to pick up some apples and pears at solebury orchards, and home to chill, very tired.

Lots of wolf spiders in the cleanup pile, they just wandered off to hunt some snacks. Must have been a new brood.

I need to make a bracket for mine. To mount it inside back porch. Rain and freezing will break sandstone to pieces if left outside in the winter. Another item on my To- Do list.

Good Morning
53° grey, damp and misting outside with a high in the middle 50’s and continued gloom forecast.

Accomplishments for the weekend were to clean up and hang up RC planes, some have been dormant for 25 years or more. Kept the 3D printer running continuously making hangers.

Took the drone up to take some pictures of the place. Have to do it again when it’s sunny.
Made a Costco run with wife, son and DIL, pretty much filled the car, got some nice steaks I grilled in the rain for dinner.

3D printed holder for Knipex pliers, a ratchet for 1/4” bits and some slots for Swiss Army knife toothpick and tweezers. This is hopefully going to be my ultimate pocket multi tool. It’s lighter than the Gerber it replaces, and more useable, higher quality tools.

I think today will be a repeat of the weekend, lots of messes to remediate in the shop, and it seems like every one creates a project of its own in the process.
