Good morning!!!!

Thanks, Kyle. Nothing new. Dr told me shortly after I retired that I had asthma, have had inhalers ever since of various brands. earlier this year, VA said i didn’t have asthma, have COPD. Will be interesting what I’m told as result of this PFT.
Well regardless of the label, I hope that it turns out well.

FWIW: I use a half mask P100 when out mowing or doing anything with dust (wood, soil, spray paint, or metal). They have at least ten times the efficacy of the disposable masks. I've been thinking of upgrading to a PAPR for when things are really ugly here (e.g. wildfire smoke). It isn't much gain on filtration, but a big reduction in lung effort when using filters for VOCs.

Happy Monday to all!

All the best, Peter

Good morning! Low of 52°, heading towards the 80° mark. No chance of precipitation.

Ron, ouch.... hope you heal quickly.
David, hope the PFT results are good.

Today's agenda is to troubleshoot the pesky trailer lights. Apparently, Ram has had issues with the 7 pin and 4 way plugs on the trucks not making good connections. I think that I'll start there....

Still need to finish the weed destruction, hopefully can get some of that done.

Everyone have a great day!

Once a year I spray mine out with contact cleaner and reinstall dielectric grease. Seems to help a bunch.

Same. I have two large batteries on my trailer that power the winch, and a trailer-mounted charger made for dump trailers, that recharges the trailer batteries off the truck. That charger pulls a continuous 20A while topping off the batteries or while winching, and I used to have some issues with 7-pin connectors overheating and melting as they'd age, almost certainly due to contact plating oxidation.

So a few years back, I started packing my 7-pin connector with dielectric grease about once per year, and have had zero problems ever since. Dielectric grease keeps moisture and oxygen off those critical contacts, and doesn't seem to cause any problems for the nylon connector or PVC insulation.

finished being domestic, got the floors vacuumed and vinyl mopped and waxed.
time to go outside and putter
my next car project is to install this aftermarket secondary air injection pump air filter.
The oem one is foam inside a box and the foam falls apart over time.
Instead they say take the foam out and install this on the intake.
looks like it should last forever.
gives the dealership techs something to gawk at...what is that alien part?
the joys of being out of warranty, do what you want.

thankfully there are several very clear and very easy you tube videos showing how to take the old
one apart and add this one. Plus it looks good, like a serious filter should look. ;)
19 bucks and washable, a K&N clone.
