Still haven't had any rain since my last post ...

Grass/weeds still growing in places but has slowed way, way down. Likely will not mow again until we get some rain ... which if you believe the forecasts could be at least 10 days away at this point ...

Did get the round posts put on saw horses at some point in the past couple of days and got the last two finished up as far as coating them with asphalt.

One of the 2 x 12's glued up and clamped.

Watered the eggplant, kohlrabi, and bell peppers, 32 oz each.

Checked over garden and harvested what was available:

Ran over to relative's and picked up his tamper to borrow for the cold patch. Ours is still MIA.

Since yesterday was Sunday I hauled the Buffalo over and gave all the arbs a drink, 2 gallons each.

Also hit the west Rebud/day lilies and small peach tree with 6 gallons each.

Then hit the large peach tree with 10 or 12 gallons.

Then picked beans and got a decent mess of those, soaker hose paid off:

Woman cooked up some of those with potatoes and a small cottage ham.

Not sure what all on agenda for today but there are a few possibilities:

Dole out another week's worth of meds.

Bird feeders need refilled.

Garden needs watered (of course ... )

Produce needs prepped and bagged for the freezer.

Trash Day tomorrow so the garbage will need hauled up to the cans at the road.

Creeping crud still hanging around, worse for The Woman than for me.

Hope everyone is having a decent Monday ...

Been good day for trimming mowing,maybe 2 more mowing front field.
While coming up the driveway slow good size bear laying it's head against rear tire sound sleep no fear of tractor guess when your sleep most any place will do,I check valve stems for chewing.
Time head for the deck enjoy smooth cigar wait for critters and stars for couple hours,early to bed early rise tomorrow.

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 6.1C and it's presently 15.8C, partly cloudy with a gentle breeze. There was 2.0mm in the gauge @0900.

I'm glad that I took the flagpole down yesterday as the wind howled and gusted well into the late hours. I've since put it back up. Oh, and I did get my self-haircut completed.

Now, today I need to 'catch' Penelope the Pussybeast by 1315 so that I can take her to the Vet for her annual vaccination. I'll simply hold her for the drive & visit as she will NOT get into a carrier. I do have one that I can get her into but it's the size of a child's play-tent.

Wish me luck.

Good evening all. 58ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. light wind, variable cloudiness, and high temp was 81ºF. Made coffee to start day, office work, bike ride, mow back yard, lunch, nap, trim front bush, ICVFD board meeting and Chapel Quarterly meeting. Sound setting got messed up on computer, getting sound but using different amplifier and driver sound less good. :
Bill glad you able to get some jobs done around the house. Hope you can get the rest of your agenda done soon.
David hope you can get Dr to agree on COPD vs asthma. Several of the treatments for COPD make asthma worse.

Coffee has been poured. 42° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 75° with mostly sunny skies. Yesterday's Dr. visit went good. Been released to start running again. Not going to happen. But will get my walking steps in every day.
Minimum steps per day is 5k. Also made an appointment to get staples removed from my head injury next Monday. Not sure what I will get done today.
No more room at feeder.
