Mrs. inform me to put some good rags on and comb my brush pile before 5:30pm she is taking me out to dinner.

Evening plans wait for the critters to stroll by good chance pillow time will come early.

30 bucks a pound for sand? I think not.

Take a 5 gallon bucket and a shovel to the lumberyard and fill it from their bar sand bin. They might not even charge you.

Good (Saturday) morning. Overnight Low of 6.6C and it's presently 11.4C, clear & somewhat blustery. There was 10.6mm in the gauge @0900.

Just today and tomorrow left to Winter. The temperature fluctuations certainly reflect that as a number of 'Spring' indicators are becoming apparent; daffodils & snowdrop are flowering, plus a flock of Flame Robins are in my paddocks. Only the return of the Welcome Swallows are missing.

Nothing really planned for today. That's about it, take care all.
