Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 0.5C and it's presently 10.3C [heading to 15C], clear & calm.

Well, yesterday's paddock transfer (from #3 to #4, for those keeping track at home) went quickly and, seeing as I was 'dressed', I decided to chain-harrow #3 whilst I had enough sunlight.

Because I had that 'tractor fun' yesterday I have a clean slate for today.

That's about it, take care all.

I know I do for my car. Read all the online stuff to be read and for under 100 bucks can hopefully make a big difference.
No high end now, everything is muffled.

That is very surprising to hear, typically Lexus’ have a decent audio system, even the base models. Are you sure that there isn’t some wacky EQ settings stored? I would find the audio system settings and tweak the EQ to see if you can get it closer to your liking. The EQ settings are often buried under a few layers of menus, but I would start there.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 71° with light fog this morning. Heading to 86° with rain and thunderstorms throughout the day. Grocery shopping went good. Good thing I have a good supply of Sam's Club bottled water. Area where it is stock in store was empty. Rest of the day was spent conserving energy. Need to replace house water filters today. That should be enough for the day.

72 up to 85 and maybe a storm, since we missed our turn yesterday.

Roasted coffee for a couple of hours yesterday morning and met the fiber internet tech in the yard at 1pm sharp...right on time. The phone company had laid the fiber on our ground for a few hundred yards from the pole up the road...this tech just connected it to our house and installed the terminal and router. I was surprised when he said the crew to bury the cable would be out in another week or two. It's already been there a week...I've had to move it to mow...also rerouted it in one place so they won't cut the roots of a loblolly.

It is super fast when it works...it was working intermittently...had to work with numerous people/call transfers and put on hold for 2 hours...getting cut off 3 times. :( Final verdict was they had not totally disconnected our address from the DSL service...of course the line was cut on our end and router removed. Said "now fixed" but was still intermittent. Working great this morning, so fingers crossed.

Morning all!
57 with low humidity going to 72 and partly sunny. What's not to like!
Managed to get my truck washed but not the car. Maybe later.
Have a new company showing up today to do insect control around the house and storage building. While that's going on we have a company coming to the apartment house to clean and repair a rain gutter. 3 stories up is to high for me!
Sister and BIL. will be in town for 3 days starting today so the hotel is open. They're going to his aunts 90th birthday party tomorrow.
Not sure if chiropractor is doing any good or not. Still having issues with the neck!
Did manage to get out in the shop and play a few hours each day this week.

14 inch spalted maple tray. 2 coats of shellac and 2 coats of friction polish.
Don't know if I'm just hungry but I see bacon in the spalting!

good morning all
woke up to light rain, now gone, not much
grey outside, probably stay that way but much cooler today, temps staying in 70's.
just went out and fed the birds and temp was lovely

Phil, nice looking plate

Popgadget, this is one of those factory stereos that are very difficult to upgrade due to head unit. I read all the reviews online and they
agree with my results, basic system is muffled, while optional Mark Levinson system very good. All the complaints say the same thing,
but good that upgrading can help, and not costly. Replacing the head unit is 1500+++; I like the head unit just fine, hope issue is not no output to tweeters, unlikely a crossover burned up but ? Stereo sounds like early gen Bose system, thumpy, smooth, not very accurate. Unit has three tone controls, I have treble maxxed out, doesn't seem to affect much. I'd love to put an audio analyzer on the existing system and see how far off it is.
for a hundred bucks, it's worth the effort I hope to try new speakers. I admit I'm spoiled by my KEF speakers at home, as inexpensive as they are, they produce very accurate sound. My car stereo sounds nice. But it doesn't sound good...

and to continue a long standing tradition, I am going to improve the top end of my truck by at least five mph
due to a proven upgrade on my cars. Lexus wanted 65 bucks for a chrome exhaust extension standard on fancier model, I got
one online for 25. :giggle: It has internal tabs I haven't figured out yet, but maybe I'll crawl under there today and check it out.
yes dear, it's a guy thing

not everything in life has to be logical and sensible.

The best sound system in a car I ever had was B&W in a Jaguar would knock my socks off. An XF with V8 super charged four doors and would fly. The older I get the less I hear.

70.2 this morning high of 92 95 yesterday no 100s yet.

I’m tired had great dinner last night Alexander’s best place in Roanoke by a mile. Holly ate all of her food including desert. She had a lot of fun

Prayers for all our Country
