Good morning TBN!!
43 going to a sunny 80+
Got restarted on the tank yesterday. Had to get the pump hooked up and refill gas tanks. Did that three times. Goal is to finish this week sometime. Day off or two makes it hard to get back to it.
Every time I think I am getting close I find another area that needs done. I should have taken a more methodical approach but I just go in and start where ever then move to another spot. All those spots should come together eventually.
Plan for today is more of the same.

Time for a second cup
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

Good Morning,
Ct, 36 to start going to 63. Sunny right now with increasing clouds later.

Woke up to a fire alarm at 5:15 , smoke in the building at our local grammar school. The alarm panel burned up. Vented building and returned to service.

I need to pick up my youngest son and his family at the airport today at 1 pm. Kathleen wants me to pick up mulch for the yard. So looks a fairly busy day.

According to my mow map, roughly 16 acres. Yes, still using the brush hog. Think I’m getting closer to switching back to flail
David thanks for the explanation on your mowing, you are definitely busy with that. Glad your tractor is working well.

Buppies, prayers to you and Holly 🙏

Better get going, hope all have a good start to their week. 🙏

alarm panel starting a fire, not exactly to design spec...nice smell of burning wires I'm sure

plans for this morning changed thanks to rain coming in. I had hoped to mow, now maybe late this afternoon.
so headed off to local garden shop looking for veggies and a few more flowers. Don't mind doing that in the light rain.
keeps my rain hat washed...

Thomas, you take those chains off and you're going to make it snow... ;)

good morning, 48 going to 70 a lot warmer today

Grass is getting tall. Need to look at the mower and get it ready

Wife enjoyed nice drive in the country looking at flowering trees yesterday

Worked more on the kitchen and sorted off what to trash. Will take a few cycles of trash pick up to work through it

Not sure about keeping the butcher block table. Not sure what it weighs but 3x4 ft and 10 inches thick?

Hope to get back to working on the welding shop soon

Good Morning to All who Celebrate! Currently 46° to a high of 69°, Partly cloudy with showers coming and going.

Got the last bit of brush hogging knocked down and mowed 8/10ths of the lawns. Swapped filters in the Farm Boss and it fired right up. But it's done this to me before, where it will start right next to the shop, but then you go 500 yards and suddenly it won't cooperate. Time will tell.

Need to take the tree down since the grapple is still on the tractor, rather would do that before tackling Mount Tanbark. Parents are still enjoying the beach and getting the house ready for the coming rental season.

Grandma came out on Sunday for lunch together, a good hike with her down a local trail. She had to stop and say hello to some donkeys in a nearby pen. You can take the girl off the farm, but not the farm out of the girl. Always glad to spend time with her.

Mostly, my condolences for your loss. May your brother rest in peace. I pray he went well to his reward.
Buppies, I'm pulling for you! I hope you have a good visit today with Holly. I remember my grandfather having the same trouble. He was a world renowned mathematician with a wicked sharp mind. Seeing him degrade like that, especially the moments of confused but clear... was something I'll never forget. Praying you and Holly have many good days yet together.

Y'all stay safe out there and be well!
Prayers for those Ailing and Recovering!

Morning all, 51 going to 67 and rain.
Yesterdays trip up to the Bronx , Fordham College, went well.
We got a full tour, saw their gym, classrooms and residences.
Even got to see the church, with it's amazing stained glass windows, built int he 1840's
The campus is across from the Botanical gardens and up the road from the Bronx Zoo.
Train right behind the dorms goes into NYC.
Subway is there, but that probably would not be a good option after dark, it is still the Bronx.

I tried CoQ10 at one time, had to stop as it made my joints, especially my hips feel like they were coming apart. I find it amazing how something that helps one person, messes up another. Genetics ?
I have to take D and K and many other vitamins now since I don't absorb a lot anymore.

Hope your visit goes well Buppies.

The grass is growing fast now, once it goes to seed, then I will cut it. Self seeding is how I avoid using fertilizers and chemicals.

Be well,
The main hall (Keating Hall) has been in so many movies, so decided to take a different angle.

Good Morning!!!! 47F @ 6:30AM. Foggy this morning, then partly cloudy this afternoon. High 66F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph.

Nothing worse than having to drive/commute to classes, Ken, at least it was when I was going to Ohio State and U.C. Berkeley. Just looking at a map of the San Francisco Bay Area still gives me that sinking feeling. What a relief when I finally got into close in housing, close enough to bicycle, or walk if the weather got bad enough.

A while back a little part broke off the pump on my gas pressure washer, and it doesn't look like Generac sells the part separately. They want $160 for a new pump, but it's only gonna give me the original 2400 PSI. The idots that owned this place painted the driveway and front porch, and now the paint is peeling. I need more than 2400 PSI to get it off, and as of 1/1/24, you can't buy a small gas engined tool here in Kalifornia. So I can drive 400 miles one way to Las Vegas to get one, or make a quick trip up to Klamath Falls next time I'm at the place up north, or try to find a merchant that doesn't care about Kalifornia foolishness to ship one here. But after reading the reviews, most of them are full of complaints about leaking pumps and hard starting gas engines. Or 3000 psi electrics that pop 15 amp circuit breakers. I hate renting equipment, but I may just end up doing that.

I've been slathering one of the butcher block countertops here with a tung oil finish for the past five days, and think it may be done. It needs the nits picked off with some fine steel wool, and I'll see how much that dulls it down and decide if one last light coat will be needed.

Got some phone calls to make this morning, gonna let the day unfold from there.

Hope everyone's week gets started in the right direction...

The laptop was stuck in Los Angeles all weekend, though now I see that the tariff on Chinese electronics has been lifted, so it's a FedEx problem.
