36 and drizzling, maybe some snow mixed in. I went out to run a skunk off. Next time it will be a more serious discussion. Not getting any warmer today.
Great looking dog, Rip. My wife bought eggs at Wegman's yesterday...18 for 5.98. She also bought a 24 pack at Sam's for 8.24. Not as bad as she expected from hearing the crazies on the news. She is stocking up for company coming.
m7040m prayers for you and your Mrs...and for Ken, too, to get well.
Buppies, I do Soduko puzzles everyday, and sometimes KenKens to "stay sharp." I do better with numbers than words...but that means I should switch to crosswords for more challenge. I see Prevagen (from jellyfish) advertised like crazy but I'm leery of most supplements.
Mostly, a huge tree fell over the creek downstream from my bridge a couple of years ago...it's not where I can get my tractor due to some beaver swamp soft ground...it has become a partial dam, so big rains now flood a bit upstream over my bridge. I should have gone in there during the summer drought with the chain saw, and just sacrificed an old chain.
I worked on taxes and financial statement all morning and until 2pm...got stumped on how to handle one item. Finally, was satisfied with my approach, so took Della to the river for a nice hike and swim...61F so I wore shorts and no jacket, just my backpack...I'm back "in training" for some overnight hikes, so adding weight to the pack.
Got the blade trimmer out just before sunset to clean up the honeysuckle and blackberries that have invaded my wife's long daffodil and daylily patch before they get any taller. It's a very old Stihl gas engine that has become stiff like me in its old age. Wife came home from 3 grocery stores! She knows what she likes to get at each...like I said, Wegman's, Sam's, and Costco, based on price, quality and availability. House is now full of goodies.
I know it's Super Bowl time, but I'm excited about MLB spring practice starting next week.
