nice visit with MIL. Coming into destination, nav system cut out again.
This time I took a picture, sent it to dealership and asked for them to get me a refurb head unit
because this one is overheating and failing.

That's the problem with buying used, you inherit someone else's prior problem.

MIL power came on about 11 am.

Got pellet stove cleaned out for the 2nd time this season, hope to only do 1 more final clean at the end of the season.

45 deg, so will wait to turn it back on.

Saturday night forecast still changing by the hour. Now .4" snow, then freezing rain. Tue-Wed snow event now 8" estimate. Both estimates have been like watching a ping pong match.

Good (Saturday) morning. Overnight Low of 13.3C and it's presently 16.8C [heading to 18C], overcast with a breeze which is predicted to intensify this arvo to 39kts!

Pyengana 'cheese run' and Paddock #6 chain-harrowed yesterday.

Today I'm off for a meeting in Campbell Town... leaving in about a half hour from now.

That's about it, take care all.

38 and sunny, nice afternoon and a
snow emergency just posted for township
for tomorrow.

I trimmed a few bushes outside and dumped that in woods.
felt good to get some air and exercise. Friend brought over home made soup,
bet that will be good for dinner.

have been watching WWII South Pacific naval history/battles mostly early on when it wasn't looking too good.
interesting to see how many shells those ships hurled at each other and almost all of them missed. But when the dive bombers were sent
from an aircraft carrier, that's what did the real damage.
too bad we didn't have CIWS then
didn't they call it something like sea wizz?
with accurate radar doesn't take too many slugs to put a hurting on a plane much less the pilot
everything is so different today
today we shoot missiles and send drones if we can.

this is sure a growth market for drone manufacturers.
and I bet a couple of these in a Texas farmer's field would clear out
the hogs in a hurry. Clear out pretty much everything including the crop...
looks like pretty long ammo belts.
I wonder how fast they can rearm a CIWS when it goes empty and there's still
stuff coming at you
