Good Morning to All who Celebrate! 38° going to a high of 39°, windy and feels colder than 38° No ice on the truck this morning.
Ice storm was a whiff here. Think it was too warm for too long, freezing rain but the ground was too warm to ice proper. Still, took my time and picked my way through to an abandoned work. Everyone who could, worked from home. Surprisingly, work wasn't too terrible this week. Just general clean up and the new hires. (Other than the networking trouble on Monday)
Blade and Snow-push are on tractor, Need to straighten out the stay bars on the 3 point hitch as the blade is off-kilter when set down. Really just a question of making the lengths match as I had to fiddle with them to get it on. Don't plan on using it, mainly just for additional weight.
Have a good lead on a place up North. 12 acres, an old barn and a farmhouse built in 1830. Want to find out why previous sale fell through before I make the drive up there to look at it.
Also have a lead on a mower for the tractor, already thinking about spring and the absolute mess the grass will be. A larger mower will help cover the acreage here and become the primary mower if I do purchase the farm....decisions, decisions.
This weekend involves dealing with the ice slop on Saturday, If it's warm enough to putter in the barn I will check out the Farm Boss. Also need to re-up my supply of Motomix for the 500i. Don't think there's a kit offered for the tractor's 100 hour service, but I'm right up against 100 hours so some more investigation is required.
Phil, congratulations on your prize! You are a true artisan with wood and seeing your creations is always a pleasure.
Prayers for all ailing and recovering! Remember no more slips and falls guys! We've done our share.
Stay safe out there and enjoy the weekend!
