Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 18.6C and it's presently 24.9C, overcast & calm. There was 0.2mm in the gauge @ 0900.
I need all the rain I can get as a while ago I had to switch the horse troughs over to the 'house tank'. The split hose (yesterday) resulted in another separation after I shut off the water supply to the split hose... fortunately I detected that due to hearing that the pump hadn't shut off. That one was an easy fix.
So, it was into town to purchase a new hose [15m] plus a 'just in case' hose [30m]. I bought expensive, UV protected, quality hoses 'cause "you get what you pay for". I've mentioned before that Tassie gets brutal UV radiation.
The 15m hose turned out to be a couple of metres short of what I needed. Fortunately I had enough old 'spare' hose, and connections, to make up the difference.
And that, my friends, is why we don't throw out what could be useful in the future.
The chain-horrowing of Paddock #6 will wait until today. But that will happen after a wee trip out to Pyengana for some cheese.
That's about it, take care all.
