iThingie app says we've gotten 7.8" in the last 24 hours. My boots walking out to close the chicken coop says more like about 3" here, predicting another 3-5" overnight as the back end of the storm swirls around. Some friends around the area reported some thundersnow, but we didn't get that here.
Still waiting to hear if work will be called for tomorrow. As of Friday afternoon, 25 of my 36 production employees had already turned in time off requests ... "just in case." It's a 30 mile drive for me through mostly rural areas, so I won't hate it if I don't have to make that drive on slick roads.
