I’m posting it now because I won’t have time tomorrow morning because I’ll be blowing snow. Here in Cape Breton Nova Scotia we are getting a foot of snow. An hour ago I watch the start of the storm roll up the harbour.

Phone app still says 4” snow for us, but the storm warning now issued for us, and NWS is suggesting 4-10”.

Snow started about 3 hours ago maybe an inch very light now. Supposed to change to freezing rain overnight we shall see. Logs on now feels good

We will end up with about 8" of accumulation. Was hoping for a bit more, but I'll still be able to pay with the new snowblower tomorrow morning

iThingie app says we've gotten 7.8" in the last 24 hours. My boots walking out to close the chicken coop says more like about 3" here, predicting another 3-5" overnight as the back end of the storm swirls around. Some friends around the area reported some thundersnow, but we didn't get that here.
Still waiting to hear if work will be called for tomorrow. As of Friday afternoon, 25 of my 36 production employees had already turned in time off requests ... "just in case." It's a 30 mile drive for me through mostly rural areas, so I won't hate it if I don't have to make that drive on slick roads.
