Good Morning. High today 80 they say which is too warm in the sun for any heavy type manual work.
Headed to the Legion coffee meeting this morning and then buy some cattle feed to get on 2024 taxes.

50 outside right now, heading to 60 today. Should be dry today. Did not get the talked up rain event for yesterday, another inaccurate forecast for my area.

Managed to get outside for the better part of the day. Wife is ill, so I am staying away from her. Maybe flu, maybe the alligator, who knows...will see if she wants to go to doctors today.

Not much on the agenda for today, either. Been that way for a few days now. I can get use to this. LOL.

good morning, 45 going to 57 no rain

Leaving this morning for wife's infusion appointment

Nice with the warmer weather and will get out some more today to enjoy that. Cleaned up in the shop yesterday and put tools away. Hope to go scouting for fallen trees to use for firewood. D went to Hanukkah party. Baby Lily is walking and running now. She looks beautiful in the pictures she sent.

Good morning TBN!!

40 this morning and supposed to be sunny low 60s.
Up too early yesterday. Put the solenoid on the 4 wheeler and reshaped the plastic cover back to what it was. Will replace that this morning.
Also did some sorting and puttering around the shop.
Got the dog walked between rain storms. Looks like the worst weather was all around us but we were spared. Raised the river level just enough that we shouldn't have crossed but I followed my fearless dog across on the 4x4. Tried the other spot but he wouldn't do it so went back the way we came.

Another year almost in the books and I am ready for it!!

Good Morning,
Vt, 52 to start that will be the high for the day ! Down hill from here, and as others have noted, the copious amounts of rain never really materialized! Although the ground is quite soft from the snow melt along with the little amount of rain that we did receive !

Ron and Frits, I hope to be doing as well as you guys 9 years from now along with I believe Bill also ! Some days I feel I could make it and sometimes not so much ! Time will tell !

Bill I was wondering what happened to Belle, I knew the cat was missing but if you mentioned it again I must have missed it ! Sorry for your loss !

Frits I hope your wife’s infusion goes well !

We had a lot of wind last night with intermittent showers mixed in, the best I could tell when I did wake up for a couple of my pee breaks !

Haven’t really accomplished much in the shop the past couple of days, but I am almost done roughing out the arms for the rockers ! I also ordered a 3 set of wood working rasps from Garret Wade, since I will be using those when I finally get into the shaping process later in this extended project !

One of my Grand Daughters just came out to the kitchen to inform me it’s time to make the bacon ! So that means Opa better get going !

Got sick Saturday, so yesterday was more recovery time.

Good Morning
It’s 55° which is going to be the high for a while as we are in for at least a week of sub freezing temps. It’s overcast and grey, but it’s alleged that we will see the sun later on.

It is a swampy mess out there now, we have to wipe Zoe’s feet off, as well as her legs and belly when she comes back inside. She kicks up water and mud like a thoroughbred when she runs around out there.

Yesterday was slow but steady, cleaned up and organized in the shop, vacuumed the old folks home with a new Makita stick vacuum. This one has no beater brush to wind up dog hair, and a cyclonic canister that’s easy to empty. It uses the 18v LXT battery that I have plenty of, so that’s an additional plus.

Grandson came up to play for while, we are dog sitting youngest son’s dog for a week while they vacation. She spent the night here, and settled in nicely with Zoe, we took her back over to the house for a while this morning.

Looks like the last Costco run of the year coming up this morning. Not sure what else will come up, but it seems like something always does.
