Just got back from a walk with Sassy. Tried to figure out how many steps she made to keep up with my 2000 steps. Her front legs are 6” long.

54 deg and breezy.
Would be nice to take lights down in warmer weather, but I want to see them some more yet.
ran out and picked up my meds before the end of year, then ran down to Costco to get 2TB drive on sale. What a zoo, worse than before christmas. Had to troll the parking lot to wait for someone to leave to get a parking spot. Inside the aisles were packed. However, decided before going I was staying in a good mood no matter what happened, and just took it all in stride. Even waited and waved people to go before me, just wasn't in a rush to get anywhere. Didn't get hassled for self checkout, although the line for it was 1/3 the way thru the store. My 3 cases of oil also didn't break down the imaginary belt on the self checkout (The lady last time said my stuff was too heavy for the belt at self checkout, I reminded her there was no belts at self checkout).
Home and relaxing now. Working on class I'll be teaching this quarter at church.

I used to use Real VNC, but can't remember why I stopped using it.
Works fine for me when I am home have 4 PC's running headless in the radio room. Away from home Anydesk works great!

On your local network, no problem. I was doing remote access, and I think I stopped using it for lack of security doing remote logins. Not sure though, or maybe they tried to start charging to use it. I do use the built in windows RDC for remote access.

Good NYE (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 14.8C and it's presently 21.9C, clear & calm.
Not much done yesterday, just a bit of shopping. I had a very uncomfortable night's sleep as I must have bruised one of my teeth... I considered going to the dentist this morning but it's calmed down now and I was able to have breakfast.
I need to prep & start a beef bourguignon in the slow-cooker in a few minutes for tonight's 'festivities'.
I also have some 'tractor fun' to accomplish today = rounds of hay are being delivered for the "Mad Agisting Horse Woman".
Third guest will show up at around 1300.
That's about it, take care all.

How does 10,000 steps grab you? I worked it out based on a 30" pace. If you have short legs and only make a 24" pace then it would be 8,000 steps.
Can you explain to me how Anydesk works?
Put Anydesk on 2 PC's you will have a number give the number to someone you want to log into your PC then they try and connect and you must accept them before they are allowed into your PC. Same as Remote Desktop for the most part and it's free. I use to train and help folks daily!
