Good evening all. 49ºF for the start, mostly clear, breezy. Moderate to brisk wind, brisk gusts. mostly clear sky, and high temp was 76ºF. Made coffee to start day, made oatmeal for breakfast, leaf control, ordered wood splitter, bike ride, town trip for lunch, Home Depot, and groceries. Nap then dinner.

Waiting on coffee to finish brewing. 29° with light rain and snow. Heading to 37° with wind and rain. Yesterday turned out nice. with enough sun to allow 2 walks for Sassy. Decided to move furniture around in living room. Got it done. But back is complaining today. Will try to do less heavy things today.
Plan to have a shrimp dinner this evening. Probably will not see new year in.

How does 10,000 steps grab you? I worked it out based on a 30" pace. If you have short legs and only make a 24" pace then it would be 8,000 steps.

Can you explain to me how Anydesk works?

My steps are about 22” with 29” legs. Using those dimensions with Sassy’s 6” legs. Her front leg steps are 4.8” long. My 2,000 gets her 9,160 steps. But closer to your 10,000 steps. She has to go off trail to check out what she smells.

Good morning, the low is 32 and going to a high of 34°F. Wind W 11 mph. 30% chance of flurries.

I was gifted a cup of homemade Baileys Irish Cream, the fun part about the homemade stuff is that it has to be used up quickly or it will go 'bad'. There wasn't much Tullamore Dew (Irish Whiskey) in it, but it went down good. That is my alcohol allotment for 2024.

got a funny congratulations from Google Maps.
I do a few reviews for rv travel and one I took now has hit
20,000 views. Ten times more than the others.
The one where my rv was perched up in the air on a very poorly
leveled campground site.
A real "don't do this picture".
I of course releveled the rv with blocks under the tires after I took this pic and put a little
weight on front tires.
ok to have sites on a hill, but you have to dig out the actual site...you just can't scrape the hill and put gravel on it.

Ron, that's a lot of steps for Sassy. Sometimes I wonder how many Della gets more than me, when I leave her off leash for a while and she gets ahead then doubles back to me over and over on the trail, and occasionally ventures off to check out an interesting smell.

Like yesterday. We did probably our last mountain hike of the year. Good weather, even though it was 15 degrees colder than here at home. We hiked up to a piped spring and she loved drinking from the water pouring down, just like she drinks from a hose.
