Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 9.5C and it's presently dropped from 18C to 16.4C due to a brief rain squall, which should be over soon. As such it's overcast and windy.
Yesterday's attempt to acquire the requested documentation for my OAP application was successful. The most daunting information, "Form AS330" = 14 pages long, had me very anxious. Once again, I found a phone number to call and, after being transferred 3 times, arrived at the correct Veteran's Pension person who knew exactly what I required. I didn't have to fill out a thing
AND within two minutes she had emailed me the completed one page form! All the people I dealt with were pleasant and very helpful.
I was able to easily upload the two documents requested to the application. So, now I wait to see if all goes well.
Oh, and a second ute-load (ton) of split firewood was delivered... so I've got some more stacking to do.
Last evening's drinks/supper/meeting was a lovely social occasion.
Tomorrow I'm off early to Ross for another meeting. The bakery there that makes Eccles Cakes should be open too!
That's about it, take care all.
