I have a hydro, 1st range, which is low. Never been able to mow faster than 2nd when shorter as 3rd won’t climb the slopes. Never in a hurry and much of the property too rough. This is all reclaimed sugar/pasture/ sweet potato, never been groomed into lawn other than my cutting. What is hard to see in this area the last farmer left very rough. I’ve gotten stuck highcentered twice. I will need to smooth a bit once cut.

If it’s on the engine, it will not be 5/16-24, but rather 8mm with a fine pitch.

My only accomplishment was mowing the rest of the yard. Yesterday I pushed out a few raspberry vines that kept encroaching into the field.
View from lower side. Steep drop in that area. need to put grapple on and pull out some of the brushes and multaflora roses. Even the grass area here is rather steep.
