Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 13.4C and it's presently 15.6C, heavily overcast with a moderate wind. Raining. There was 12.5mm in the gauge @ 0900.

What a great day yesterday! I was #4 in the queue when I got there... and my 'spot' was held by those present so that I could walk over to the Police Station (the "Cop Shop" ) to hand in a wallet that I found whilst walking to the Mobile Centre. The Mobile Centre people were extremely helpful and set me up with an 'account', which they partially filled in with my details, then explained how to 'link' it to my previously existing "MyGov" account.

I was on my way home by 0930. The log-in/link worked perfectly, so I got 'stuck in' to completing the OAP application. Of course, that took a LOT of questions to answer and information to locate. (Not too much 'cursing & swearing'... nothing 'thrown' at any rate)

Oh yeah, also when I returned home there was a call from the Medical Clinic. Short story was that my second Shingles vaccination could be done at 1430 if I was available. Yep!

I did finish the OAP application, except (of course ) for required documents to be 'uploaded'. It turned out that I did, indeed, have the required documents but not a way to upload them. So seeing as the Mobile Centre was going to be there until 1600, after my Shingles shot, I stopped by there again. They took me right away and were able to scan the documents and complete & file the application!

WOW! This one local visit saved me at least two (4 hour driving per trip) trips to Launceston.

Due to today's rain (still coming down) I'll relax for the day.

29° this morning made it to about 50° by afternoon.
Light winds and sunny. Looking pretty good for the next week.



Productive day, Wally, groceries and pet food store and home by 9:30 am. Took leaf blower for a good long walk.
Then sat outside and had a couple of cold ones.

Coffee is brewing. 32° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 66° with abundant sun. Finished mowing grass around house. Then helped neighbor get burn pile going. Stayed around until most of it had burned down to the larger logs. Have one section of grass to mow out behind barn. Then some tree trimming along property line.
Getting fall colors after some frosty mornings.

Morning all!
35 going to a sunny 60 today.
Here is my leaf pile so far! About half way thru the remaining season. Leaves are still coming down.

5 loads out of the lawn vac! I have another pile also on the other side of the property.
Last years pile is composting well.

Managed to get the weight box removed and the snow blower serviced and attached also.
Trying to be quiet as we have guest sleeping over. Off to Coffee with the family in a few hours.

18mph NNE, looks like a breezy morning. Glad I got the drone up yesterday but I'll try again today, right down on the beach. Private beach for this rv resort, pretty nice

See if it really is 80 degrees. That would be warm for the New Jersey shore

Big boat, Cat 3412s likely, maybe older 1292s.
Relatively slow, 75 ton boat maybe 16 knot cruise but most driven slower
if you own one of these you usually aren't in a rush to get anywhere
You are snowbirding up and down the East Coast, stopping often at fancy marinas that can hold a boat that size, and looking for local restaurants to go to.

Those college costs are outrageous.

Went to visit my mom yesterday. On the way she calls and is having breathing problems and chest pain...so we go to hospital instead of her place for our visit. Great people and care at that hospital. She was much better by the time we left last night. Della was extra hungry by the time we got home 4 hours after her dinner time.

34 going to low 70s today.
Productive day yesterday. Hauled a bunch more rock and I think I should be good now. Just have to locate a tank and get it in the ground. TC45D is a workhorse!
Plan today is to finish straighting up the garage and plan for my niece and her husband's arrival this afternoon. Visiting from Ohio until Monday morning. Should be nice as they have not been here before.
Pulled BBQ pork for dinner when they get here.

Good morning! 48˚F heading to 80˚ partly cloudy skies no rain today or in the 10 day forecast. The last time we had measurable rain was September 4th.

Temps this weekend will be in the 50s in the morning and 80s in the afternoon so we are expecting a large crowd at the "adventure" farm. 5 tractor drivers are scheduled to cover the 14 hour shift on two tractors.

Moved the rototiller in to its resting place for the winter. Lifting it with chains is tricky since it wants to rotate but all done.

Good morning, the low temp is 38 and going to a high of 63°F. Wind S 7 mph. Sunny!

I got it all done yesterday. We got the hoe off and BB on. The driveway dragged and the weeds out of the center. Put some more greens on the compost pile along with the bark off the firewood that I scraped off the driveway.
While I was doing that my latest customer came over and paid me. She is good until the end of October 2025. I explained to her that I charge by the year (365 days) not by the season.

Junior is off to town around noon and I am going to spend most of today in the youtube rabbit hole.

I hope that Kyles' sons' knee is getting better without a hospital visit. Look for red streaks going towards upper leg. If so get him to a hospital PDQ.

37 outside right now, Ground is frosty and the Super Moon is beautiful. Heading to upper 60's today.

Road trip in a few, in-laws yard sale weekend. Probably will consume the weekend and then some days. Will inspect the relics a little more closely. And that's about all. Yesterday shuttled wife to numerous Doctors, looks like it will take some time before she is 100 percent recovered.

Good Morning
44° with a high of 65, not a cloud in the sky for today.

Yesterday went by quickly, a lot of small tasks. Got the 75” tv up in the great room, along with the center channel speaker, removed all the floor coverings and swept floors, moved all of the tools, supplies and materials out. The township engineer came to inspect the grading and make sure that the soil was stabilized to prevent erosion. Stayed too busy to think about pictures, hopefully I’ll get a batch today.

Today I want to mount the TV in the bedroom, and continue the cleanup. I’ve also got to make a propane run, I’ve got 6 empty tanks. The place I take them to charges me by the gallon for the total to fill all of them, so I’m not penalized for topping off a partially full tank, as I’ll probably put the last full one on the grill and fill the partial one that’s on it.
