They have quite a few planes I worked on or around, in a museum.
Feel a little bit older now :)

Looks like a great setup. Have fun Drew.
I just skimmed through looking to see if they had any A4's the Marine Close air support bird of the late 60's and early 70's when I worked on ours A4C's, A4 D's, and a few A4E's. I see that they have the A4F's which were the last of those birds. I did get the chance to see the first Harrier touch down at Cherry Point in 1974.

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 7.4C and it's presently 10.5C [heading to 19C], mostly overcast & calm. Heavy rain predicted tomorrow.

Up an hour earlier for a relaxing morning 'routine' prior to heading into town in a half hour or so. I'm looking forward to receiving assistance applying for the OAP and the benefits that come with it. The Fed Gov upped the application age to 67 a few years ago... naturally a year before I hit the old 'age' of 65. Anyway, I'm applying now to get my 'ducks in a row' prior to my BD at the end of the year.

That's about it, take care all.

I did today exactly what I said I was going to do this morning. Temp down to 32 tonight and up to 57°F tomorrow and sunny for the next 5 days. I will get the hoe off tomorrow and the BB on. I have a small job to do on the BB before I put it on. Then maybe scrape the driveway and get the weeds off the middle.

Morning all, 63 going to 81 and sunny/dry
More watering.
Found the sides of the shared road, the grass has died and it's just dirt now.
Watered front/back and will do more today.
Even the forest section looks pretty dry.

Ron - prayers , you had many happy years. Time is too short for us all.

Kyle - if you ever get to pop by here I will make you real scallops with a nice white wine reduction.

be well,

Moving leaves, can see the blower top center

600 feet of dry shoulder area :-(
Yum yum!
I got the appointment for the functional reassessment, Nov 14th at 12:15. They wanted $200.oo up front and then $575.oo when I walk in the door. Going to be interesting what happens after that.
Hope you pass. Prices seem like what you pay in USA. I thought y'all had no cost/low cost health stuff.

Worried for my son. A turf burns on his knee is infected. Also throat is sore with redness/puss pockets. We've treated with H2O2 and antibiotic cream. Daughter had some leftover 875mg amoxicillin, we gave him 1 at 7:45pm will give another tomorrow morning as I will take him to wherever I can get him in. We live in a medical desert. I called local clinic, they could write him a prescription, but no where to fill it locally. Maybe an hour+ away in Austin. Will watch the infection overnight as I get up to P. Also told him we will let the fever get up to 102ish before we give him anything. Let the body's natural fever help fight the infection. He's hovering around 100F. Last year, a kid with turf burns went a couple of days like this prior to seeking help, and he had to be rushed to the hospital in Austin. A team of docs was waiting for him at the ER. I'm praying the amoxicillin will kick in. I have a bag packed and watching the turf burn area for signs of redness expanding. I know the consequences of letting an infection get out of control is bad. I'm going to take him to the hospital's walk in clinic tomorrow AM, if things don't get worse tonight.
