Hope wife feels better plowhog. Our last golden Sofi had a shocked look when she first saw snow eyes got huge then stuck her nose then paw in it then went wild running rolling etc. really miss Sofi

good morning all
57 in Greenbrae CA going up to72 today, though I will spend the afternoon further North in Santa Rosa where one of my sister's boy's live with his family. Going to have a big family get together over dinner tonight.

I came home last night to an emotional disaster I never expected. My next door neighbor is clearly mentally ill, and while I was away, started pulling out dead trees near my garage. He claims I"ve been planting flowers on his property and maybe I have being completely unaware. He has watched me for years and said absolutely nothing. Apparently the property line is not one side of the gravel lane next to me but rather inside the tree line I was told was this property.

so while I"m away he goes bonkers. Starts sending me emails yesterday afternoon. I came home last night to six of them. Then they started coming in every fifteen minutes, crazy stuff like F you over and over and I'm an owner and you are tenant and know your place, just nutty stuff.

I tried to de-escalate and the f you's kept coming, followed by gosh I'd really like to hear about your trip when you get back. Clearly off his meds and he has a long known history of mental challenges. Plus his cat comes over and constantly kils my birds and he thinks thats a good thing. I had to forward everything to my landlord last night who is just as horrified by this guy as I am.

It may mean I have to move if landlord will not install a big fence of some sort along the agreed upon property line.
After this guy gave me my "final warning" twice, I knew he was totally nuts.
So I have a mentally unstable person giving me final warnings.
This sure ruined by nice day yesterday, thinking of what this wackadoo is doing while I"m away
I blocked his email address so at least no more upsetting craziness.

I can just imagine if someone told each of you to know his place.

coffee is going down nicely and I will focus on the day and family and not this foolishness.

Still no rain, lots of leaves on the ground.
Didn't get much done yesterday, need to start putting pool stuff away.

Got food from the Lebanese place in town, always good and the owner is really nice.

Paul/PopGadget - love the sliding doors, the details are amazing in the new place

Drew - since the police are right across the street, maybe leave this to them. Threatening and harassing is still not legal. Sorry to hear such problems, why I stay away and never talk to one of my neighbors on the other side of the woods.
I am glad you got to make it to Muir woods. Such a nice peaceful place.

hoping to soak my concerns away with a nice hot shower, I get into the tiny rv shower
and start the water, waiting for hot water to arrive, which is pretty quick, not far to go
So as the water is warming up, I feel something funny and it's because the water is backing up the drain and filling up bottom of shower. well, guess the tank is full, that's a first.
so I have to get dressed again and go out and dump the tanks.
Then back for my nice shower and feel much better.

tank level gauges gunked over since I got this rv no matter how many chemicals I put in tank. so I just learned I'd better remember to dump after four days.

had yogurt and fruit for breakfast, now boring job of doing pill boxes for next two weeks
have the morning free today so good to get chores done

rv campground filled up totally overnight, appears to be a big group, all rental rv's, one next to me has a German group tag.
these rentals are pretty stripped down, most have no slides

Also learned some discouraging news. Expecting a package via UPS. It has arrived in Hilo, but a note said delivery delayed 1 business day due to a mechanical problem. Meaning Monday. Not a problem knowing I’ll be in town I can just swing by and pick up. Do so after lunch and gate is closed and a sign saying Closed Permanently. ??? Already knew they were stopping taking packages such as Amazon returns, but this was a surprise. Now there is no CS at the hub itself.

The tire shop was closed and tried another one but they said the rim being 24 inches would not fit the mounting machine. I guess they don't know how to use tire irons. So went back and got the tube out. Found a leak near the valve stem on the tube that is not fixable but patched it anyway to at least drive it into the barn. Blocked it up.

You need a new tube. But then you already knew that, so I am preaching to the choir.

You can get glue on valve stems they go on just like a patch.

Afternoon all,
Well it's sure not morning but I procrastinated the morning away and finally got going this afternoon;
Well, this afternoon drove home a bit how much older I am and what I can do.
Had my "shop" resided last year. Got the paint for it but it never got done.
So this afternoon with a reasonable temperature I thought I get some of it done.
So got out my airless sprayer that had only been used once and found it hadn't been cleaned enough when it was put away.
Had tried to run some satin varnish through it, didn't work very well as you couldn't see how much you had applied.
So this afternoon got out 2 gallons of the Cabot penetrating stain I had picked up last year and the sprayer, thought I could get the two side walls done.
Nope, not going to happen it took a couple of hours to get the thing working and flushed out. Then with it working.
I got started, had to use a stepladder to get the eve done and a couple of feet down then I could get it from the ground. Surprise number 2 that damned T1 11 soaked up that stain like there was no tomorrow the dang wall is only 24 feet long and 9 and half feet high but it sucked up 3 gallons of that stain. Only got 3 gallons left,
so I hope to get the other wall tomorrow after the dew gets off everything. Then I'll have to go get more to do the ends, with the walls taking 3 gallons I figure the ends are going to take at least 4 ma6ybe 5 gallons to do so I'll have to get some more and wait for a another spell to do those.

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 6.3C and it's presently 13.1C [heading to 18C], mostly cloudy with steady wind.

Yesterday's tree felling only half accomplished as the bloody wind kicked up. But I was able to clear all of the branches and safely drop the split portion of the trunk. I had to sacrifice the smaller tree that it was resting on. So now the trunk felling is all that's left to do this coming week.

As per usual, I'm off to Church in a while (leading the Morning Prayer service) and then the rest of the day is His.
