I think something in rv is tripping garage breaker.

To be clear, is it tripping a breaker or a GFCI? a breaker doesn’t care about a ground fault and a GFCI doesn’t care about over current.

Assuming it’s a GFCI that is tripping, that means that the current flowing through it is not balanced between the “hot” and “neutral”, so it assumes that it is leaking to ground a creating a shock hazard, especially if the path to ground is through a human. A wet outlet would be a good place to look for the leakage.

She was addicted as a new born from her birth mother and this has been a life long struggle for her. One leg was amputated a couple of years ago and the other is now at risk. She got a stent but needs a valve replaced in the heart.

Strong prayers thoughts for the young lady.

All in all good day...trimmer got long long walk and front field got good scalping,mower had bubble bath and fresh set sharp blades for Friday.

Plans for the evening...share bowl ice cream on the deck than feet up until eye lids get heavy.

Frits, more prayers for your daughter ! To have gone through losing a leg and the possibility of losing another, and the issues with her heart! She is stronger than me ! We have her in our prayers !

Good (Monday) morning. Overnight Low of 11.1C and it's presently 13.6C, overcast with wind, occasional gusts. There was 4.3mm in the gauge with showers predicted for the rest of the day. Both tanks are full!

Yesterday I took a wander along the horse trough hose line, looking for any indication of a wee leak = nothing seen, although the trough is unusually 'high' but not spilling. So maybe the float shut-off valve has shifted.

What with today's showery weather, I'll just dhobi up a 'load' of towels & hang out with Penelope the Pussybeast.

That's about it, take care all.

Good evening all. 75ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Light to moderate wind, some afternoon buildups, and high temp was 97ºF, HI 104ºF. Made coffee to start day, Chapel set up attend chapel and chapel tear down. Breakfast with group, sweep back porch and front porch, lunch, fix front porch light timer( points had too much resistance), nap, laundry, grilled chicken and yellow squash for dinner.

Coffee is cooling. 70° with thunder storms this morning. Heading to 85° with continued thunderstorms. Spent time getting tractor ready to mow 2 fields with flail mower. Then helped neighbors move some rocks to a new garden for them. Then helped install new mirrors on pickup. Good none of the stuff I did was heavy work. Hot and humid. Plans for today are to stay in cool house when I get back from Dental appointment. No problems. Just a cleaning.

another hot day, 95 today, 99 tomorrow

it's the gfci tripping in garage, not breaker in basement of house, so I'm with Popgadget, I think water got in somewhere, which it sure isn't supposed to do...that's my project for this morning when a little cooler out. Will go pick up a gfci first thing this morning, good for a spare anyway. And I will get the 20 amp one. If none of that works, will need some help diagnosing. I have the portable surge arrestor in line, and it shows no problems with ground at garage receptacle, has to be in rv.

this is the kind of trip wrecking stuff I need to get sorted out before I leave. My Step BIL I am visiting in Colorado had to turn around in St Louis when headed to PA two weeks ago in an Airstream when his converter broke. No DC in rv, so no lights, fans, etc.
I can't imagine turning around in St Louis after traveling across the Plains and then have to do it again. Sounds like a very unhappy trip to me.
My very mechanical BIL just bought the used Airstream for this trip and hadn't vetted it. I've learned from boating to trust nothing and carry spares.

73 going to 99 again.

Took a good hike yesterday with some weight in my backpack...training for a future long hike. Then went on to town for some groceries. Picked up a couple of subs for us...they had a new one...salsa verde chicken cheese with grilled onions...I knew my sweet wife would love that. Then I cut her hair, and she traveled back to son and DIL's house yesterday to babysit again. Della and I played outside, then came in to cool off and chill.

No plans for today other than staying cool.

I need to run my Makita small leaf blower in that rv receptacle but think I should wait until 7am for that...
cooler out now, plus I love the early morning.

birds are having a ball in the birdbath on these hot days. They often splash half the water out.
Fun to see them act like little kids. Lake Drew is bone dry so my little birdbath gets a lot of use.
I have to clean it out almost daily, bird seed bits and junk get in it, clogs up solar pump filter.
it's got quite a layer of green on the bottom now, but that would be natural for a bird.
They don't need to drink from a glass out of the dishwasher...

Drew, both the GFCI that are in my RV power hook up boxes have had the GFCI replaced with 20 amp plugs. No more GFCI tripping when hooked to a RV. Going to a larger amp GFCI will not stop the tripping. As Popgadget explained how/why the trip has nothing to do with amperage. Make sure wiring in garage is big enough for the higher amperage GFCI.
Every morning TBN is down from 5:00 to 5:10 am EDT.
Not going to be mowing fields until later this week. Will be cooler.

It is going to be in the 70s later in the week. I think the wood and grass can wait until then.

good morning, 73 going to 96 and no rain

The leak detection work hopefully under warranty will start when the contractor shows up this morning. Seems to work fine so must be a slow leak

going to meet with former coworker later today. Should be interesting to catch up on what is going on in his life.

Had good conversation with youngest D yesterday. She doing well and has overcome so much. Holding two full time jobs to make it but she enjoys what she is doing and having fun

Ct, 72 to start going to 90 or so, going to be kind of rough for the next few days !
Will get an early morning walk in this morning before the real heat comes in!

The grass really needs cutting, we were getting rain here on Friday and Saturday while not getting much of that in Vermont !

Kathleen bought a bunk bed for the grands when they sleep over, and she wants me to start assembling that in the next few days ! Will probably start pulling parts out of the two boxes today and check for any possible damage.

Wngsprd, you are serious about hiking with extra weight on your back ! After a few miles I feel it with no extra weight! Especially in this heat ! Make sure you hydrate.
