Good Morning!!!! 67F @ 4:45AM. Sunshine and a few afternoon clouds. High 93F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.
Makes me wonder, David, if the fuel gauge isn't working, what else is malfunctioning? More hints that it is the ECU. Is there a lemon law for tractors?
Did more clean up on the back porch yesterday, and got the rest of the debris loaded into the Ford. Made it to town for errands and to pick up the U-Haul trailer. It appears to be the same one I rented last week, as it's still missing a valve stem cap on one of the tires. Got the mill loaded with only minor drama. Had help from a neighbor, who claimed he poisoned himself with too old kahlua poured over ice cream the day before. Said anything over 4 years old was no good, and the stuff that got him was twice that. I'll take his word for it.
I'm watching a tracking app some friends are using on a motorcycle trip. It's not automatic and they keep forgetting to turn it on. They were in the mountains yesterday, and two of the newer Moto Guzzi bikes lit Check Engine Lights when they came down to lower elevations. The lights went out by themselves, but it makes you wonder. They're headed to a Moto Guzzi rally today, so hopefully they can get help from fellow enthusiasts/sufferers.
Myself, I'm headed south today, another quick trip returning Saturday.
Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!
