Sorry about your license, is there any possible procedure to get it back? Not your commercial but your regular license? We have a handful of people who ride around on riding lawnmowers here in town. They go all over the place on them.
I will probably have some hoops to jump through, I wont know until I do the medical review. On the MTO (Ministry of Transportation Ontario) website that I have to log into I asked basically the same question. My buddy says that I have to go to the drive test center in person to drop my grade down from an 'A' to a 'G'. I am hoping to get a reply later this week. I wont be making an appointment for the medical until at least mid July. That will give my right leg a chance to build some more muscle. I can already hold both hands at shoulder level for 5 minutes.
As for going to town on the Z-turn, I can but why? If I didn't have chains on the tractor I could use that, but the chains are too hard and heavy to put on so I don't take them off.

Drinking cup of warm coffee. 57° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 67° with partly cloudy skies. Made yesterday a conserve energy day. Foot was bothering me again. Feels better today. Window cleaning and grass mowing on the list today.
This little guy needs some training when posing for camera.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

65 going to 85.

Ron, he's showing off that handsome tail.

Got more mowing done before the brief shower came. Milkweed are blooming, so looking forward to seeing the monarch butterflies. Della learned to catch yesterday...using a small tennis ball and then a piece of kibble. Next step is Kong frisbee.

A very young ground hog seems to have taken up residence in my tractor barn...seems like one of you had a similar problem...Mostly, maybe? Any suggestions...I'm thinking of trying to live trap and relocate...need to research what food to use.

good morning all
high today in mid 80's, looks like dry weather for the 10 day.
should be a quiet day.
need to mow lawn this morning, not much else planned

got a nice note from NC State Treasurer saying they found $710 of mine, unclaimed.
must have been a tax refund of some kind that didn't get to me after I moved back to PA.
they say do nothing and a check will arrive "after a required holding period of 7 weeks".
ok
I've certainly had worse news... ;)

RNG, you have rockets launching near you?
pics please...
Yes, Drew, Vandenberg Space Force Base is about eight miles southeast of Orcutt, as the crow flies. My buddy's place is only about six miles away. Usually all I see is the vapor trail from here, mostly because I end up forgetting about the launch, or it is delayed and I get tired of waiting. We've gotten closer on a mountain road called Harris Grade and gotten better views in the past, but by now the novelty has mostly worn off. When I remember to look and they launch at the start of window, and I'm looking in the right direction, I see the rocket well before I hear the sound, and it appears as an orangeish-yellow spark under a white to silver sliver in the sky. The sound reaches here after the rocket is pretty much out of sight.

This photo was taken from my friend's front yard, and I see pretty much the same thing from here:

The Rocket Monkey website helps track the launches, but the launch windows can be pretty wide.

64 outside right now, lower 80's expected. Sunshine will rule the day.

Started working on the pool in earnest yesterday. More chemicals. Cloudy but aqua blue. Some muric acid may clear that up, close. Maybe swimming by the end of the weekend.

Looks like a walk with the weed whacker is in order for today. Not much else going on.

rip, how is it going with your father's house? Have you got it cleared up?
I'm wondering if you had some crooks try to forge the mortgage like I've heard has happened, or if he did a reverse mortgage to try and cash out?
....

Things are on hold, not much I can do, working with the States attorneys office, they and the credit card companies are deciding if they want to file criminal charges. Weird huh? The credit card companies seem to just write off the debt. The bank accounts were cleaned out via forged checks made out to "Cash". The mortgage was a reverse and those funds were in the bank accounts that got cleaned out. I am waiting on the federal entity HUD as far as next steps to take for the house, since it is bank owned. Six months and counting. It's underwater so as the executer I will probably let them take it.

I use apples, carrots and lettuce. I have one that just dug up the middle of my round pen a day or so ago. 20 acres of pasture in the back and they decide the middle of a stone dust based round pen is where they want to call home.

Hope all have a great start to the weekend. Be safe.
