Morning all, 70 going up to 86 and partly cloudy.
We've been having quite a bit of lettuce here, thank you Drew.
Trees planted, bug balls got the sticky treatment to reduce the horse and deer flies, ouch.
Then took dog into town to visit son at work.
BBQ the ribs, quite a lot for $20, will be a few dinners, and rotisserie chicken still going for lunches.

My father fell and hit his head, he is in the hospital. Told he didn't break anything.
His GF could not tell us which hospital, even though she says she visited him.
He is in a neck brace and his arms really hurt.
Hopefully will hear more today. Not sure if Dr. will talk to us.

Be well,

I'm with TxDon, I like water about 84F to swim in....There is a cooling lake south of my hometown that people would go water ski on decent days in the winter due to the warmer water. Usually a shorty wetsuit was sufficient.

Coldest I've ever purposefully dove in was 50F and I was fully wetsuited, even had a hoody. Still was cold as a well digger's rear in Alaska.
I grew up in northern Vermont on a 30 acre parcel with an acre pond ~1 mile off RT15. In May my brother and I were always wanting to go swimming. Problem was that often we were skating on the pond in April. So my Dad made the rule that the water temp had to be above 60 degree F.
My Dad was also trying to improve the pond so trout would spawn. To further that he had a pile of gravel which he spread on the ice in April so it would sink and provide a better spawning spot.
I can still vividly remember measuring the water temp, seeing it got to 60, then diving in and walking back on gravel and thick ice which had sunk.
Speaking of which, can anyone speak to how well those Lock-N-Lube couplers seal on the grease fittings ?
I've only used mine on my tractors but it holds darn well IF YOU CAN GET IT ON.
My backhoe has a couple of zerks only accessible through holes to small for the LNL.
the uploaded file is too large for the server to process

oh well
There are utilities out there to downsize & rename pics in batch mode.
I used to use a freebee that was written probably a decade or more ago.
It would do a lot more than just rename and resize but I didn't get into that.
What I would generally do is just put all the files in one directory (WWW.dir) and then create another directory with a name like (WWW-resized.dir).

Good Morning,
Vt, 58 going to 82 ! Cloudy now but sun breaking out later this morning!

Fritz, sorry to hear about your brother, our prayers for him and your family!

Also Ken, hope your Dad is Ok !

Don and Kyle, the Ct pool was up to 78 when we left last Thursday! I went for a quick swim before we left just to say that I swam in the pool in May ! 😂 The lake water in Vermont was actually warmer than the Ct pool ! Go figure ! 😳

I have a bunch of photos that I wanted to share but no luck uploading them ! I will try and shrink these at some point !

Hope all have a good Monday !
