66F and mostly cloudy @ 11:45, calling for a high temp of 69F for the day. Sun trying to peek out occasionally however.
Considerable improvement in the Ten Day forecast with lowered chances of rain, today only around 30%.
Woman was a little under the weather yesterday and didn't do much of anything ... other than feed the resident beasts (me included) and water some seedlings, seems to be doing better today.
She sends Her thanks for the Birthday wishes.
Good progress made yesterday on potting seedlings.
Mostly finished up the rest of the broccoli then started on the cabbage, think I had 2 broccoli and 2 cabbage left that were quite ready ... so around 34 total each of both.
Then worked some on potting more tomatoes ... 6 of the Trip-L-Crop and 4 (or 6 ?) of the Bush Beefsteaks IIRC. Things were starting to get a little crowded in that seed tray:
The Trip-L-Crop have the oddest looking leaves I have ever seen on a tomato.
Had to make up some more potting mix, also mixed up another gallon of 1/2 strength Schultz's Tomato Food to use on the seedlings.
Previously potted tomatoes doing well, most of them probably 8" to 10" high:
The peppers I got potted the other day still have quite a ways to go before they get put in the ground:
Got more 4" square pots ordered from Amazon last night, should be here tomorrow.
Agenda for today:
Bring Cub and dump cart over from the barn and haul plants that are currently out front around back to the shelves where they can get more sun.
Start mining wood for the raised beds.
Maybe prep The Woman's new saw and take it outside and give it a test run ... if She feels up to it.
Possibly some mowing down here around the house ... if it dries out.
Hope everyone is having a decent Monday ...
