Day started out around 50 degrees and then a front came in and rain and now low 40's.

Good day to work.

Wife wasn't gonna pass up a day of rain. This time she grabbed my daughter and went to the property. Split some wood and of course play in the mud. Sxs was clean.

Dog stayed the hell out of the sxs for once.

Oh well, they had fun

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 8.6C and it's presently 20.2C, clear and calm.

Woken up a wee bit early by Penelope making her "I've caught something! Now what do I do?" meow. It was a not-quite-dead mouse, which must be dead (somewhere) now, as she's no longer interested.

The only thing planned for today is a late arvo Church Council meeting.

That's about it, take care all.

fire up pressure washer and have it cleaned in five minutes Joel.
great pics.
never been a mud person but I can see the appeal.

since we were ever so small we were told not to step in the puddles.
now we can sure have our revenge and have fun too.

Muds fun...once in a while. Besides this little clearing is off limits most of the year. It's my food plot. Next month I need to bring in more topsoil (some low spots) and then start the tilling.

They enjoy tearing it up while they can

Currently under a Tornado Watch.

Tornado Warning was issued about 3 counties west of us, storm has tracked through 2 counties so far, is about 1 county away which is now under Tornado Warning.

Appears to be headed directly towards us.

Will probably be heading to the basement in the next 20 minutes if they issue a tornado warning for Summit County.

My dad can't find or remember when his cruise is, or where it's going :(

With him being on the other coast and only his older brother out there and his girlfriend being so whacky...... my brother is going to try and visit in a month or so and we are trying to plan a trip out there too.

Buppies - good to hear about health, hope the swelling goes down and you can get some rest.
That's why it's nicknamed the "Left Coast". Hope he gets an email from the cruise line, confirming reservations or something.

Oldest dirty joke....white sxs went through the mudhole. Looks like fun! I'd of had the windshield down.

Buppies, good to hear things are better. Prayers for rest.

I got the Torchmate cnc plasma "kind of" working. It has a system that is supposed to sense the height distance to the metal, and adjust Z height to follow warped material. Ours is not working correctly. This machine has been in hibernation since before Covid. I am trying to resurrect it. I was able to turn off the "sensing" system, and run me a big washer for my bushhog tailwheel (while I was practicing). :)

My boss sent me home with a loaner 3D printer that is maybe about 6 years old. Going to see if my son will like it and use it. If it starts to just collects dust, will have to find him another toy. I'm secretly hoping it will motivate him to learn CAD drawing.

Popgadget, I wonder how the RC piper cub performs with the twin cylinder gas engine? My buddy has a real piper cub, and a super cub. The super cub is getting a restoration. It came with a 135hp, and my friend might go up to a 160. Not sure if this is true or not, but he says he remembers his Dad talking about it and that the 135 is a lighter engine and that weight savings helps it perform decently compared to the bigger engines. It does have flaps.
