thought of it, yes. But they make it hard, because the county is afraid people will live in an RV, so they won't let you get permits for things, like electric, before you file for a house building permit. Also can't file for any other kind of building permit until you file for the house permit. If I had a driveway in, I would probably dry camp there a few days at a time. If I had known of some of these rules beforehand, I would have gone with the WV lot. Kicking myself over that one, although WV gets more snow. this was view.

If @daugen gets all the way t F'burg he should absolutely have some cabrito at Cooper's BBQ in Llano and visit the Enchanted Rock State Park between F'Burg and Llano. There is a nice RV park in F-burg.

I have stayed at different parks around F-burg. Best was Lady Bird Johnson. It is on south side of airport. On weekends it is a fly-in for all different types of aircraft. There is also a park close to downtown F-burg.

That is the one I was talking about - Lady Bird. Really nice little place. It’s been awhile since we were at the RV Park. But F-burg, Enchanted Rock and Llano are all favorite places.

helo, those chairs look fantastic. They have a Scandinavian look to them. We have a lot of Hans Wegner tables and chairs. Was checking one of the chairs online and was shocked to find it listed for 5,000 dollars each

Yeah, you are right. Designer is danish guy

Man, I have googled Wegner. Prices are
"best" I have seen - 10k for set of 2 chairs, like 50 y. old, with lot of wear. LOL I wouldn't put them in my home even for free

Coffee taste very good today. 31° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 35° with cloudy skies. Never got above freezing yesterday. But did get some sun. Got Christmas tree down and put away until next December. It was nice enough to take Sassy for a walk to back of property. Installed some new LED lights in pole barn.

Morning all!
19 here going to 40ish with full sun.
Need to clean the pellet stove today and go for a few errands. Wife is working today.
Here is a shot of my computer set up when I'm not on the laptop. All the woodwork was made by me. Of course all the shelves and cabinet tops are now covered in lathe projects! Wife has also grabbed quite a few and is using them for all kinds of storage around the house.
Decided to clean off the mantle and will only display my 10 favorite or latest ones. Will grab a pic once the sun comes out later.

We had a great New Years and are now looking at a quiet couple of months till the start of Birthdays gets another cycle going.
That's it for now time for coffee #2.

I am not going to let that little bit of snow stop me from my appointed rounds. lol
Only 10 stops on this trip. We should be home by 1430 P.M., but if it is later the cats and dog wont care.

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

17.4F going to mid-40s, getting cloudy later.

Missed yesterday GM, first day back at the tax prep company and trying to get back into a “going-to-work” morning routine started a little slow..

Not only us, but he dogs and chicken need to adjust, too. This is old hat for Bailey, but this is the first year for Harry Houdini Hound and he needs to have things to occupy his mind…

time for more coffee and run Harry around outside to hopefully burn off a bit of energy…

We did collect about six gallons of walnut sap over the last two days, my babci’s ancient white enamel ten-gallon soup pot is atop the woodstove, slowly condensing it down…

Brix spectrometer showing it has condensed from 0.75% sugar to 2.25%, need to get it to +-65%. Fun winter projects!

Mostly, I hope to see everyone who wants to when I come through Texas. (or anywhere....) I have no idea where everyone is located,
and if folks are willing to come get me, or meet me at a restaurant with a big parking lot, I'm game. My trip on the way home is
flexible, not making reservations ahead of time, so I can spend an extra day somewhere. Best to PM me when time is closer and we can
all make plans. Particularly since I may be off a day or two in getting there. But with good internet, you will know where I am.

I look at the map of CA and Scootr is pretty far over in the desert, but that's a maybe.
I very much understand how some folks don't want their home addresses or info made public. PM is good.
