Good Morning, Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday!
It’s 38 with a high of 48 today, so there is no chance of a white Christmas, and only a very slight chance of a damp one.

Yesterday it finally got all the deliveries finished, but didn’t get home until 4. I did manage to eat brisket for lunch at Mission BBQ, but it was definitely too late to fire up the smoker to get the Pork belly done.

I’ve got to get moving, heading down to son’s for breakfast and see grandson open presents. It will be breakfast and dinner there, back up to our place in between to pay attention to Zoe and maybe get the smoker fired up.

Everyone have a wonderful day, I’m off to a good start…..

Mom and Dad 95 and 100 yrs old still 'independent living' in a lovely apartment in assisted living country club. Movies, dinners, and activities available. Mom still playing bridge with friends. Children, grand and great grand kids to visit today. They sounded good today. So glad I was able to make the trip for her birthday in October. It was a special get together for M&D and all 5 kids. Life has been kind to us.

Party last night was good, did not get to sleep until 1am, still tired.

We are at a point where the youngest of the old crowd is 8 (Friends little sisters) and the newer couples don't have too many children or are far away (Other Friends son has 3, but out in Pittsburgh). Friends in NY just had a grandkid too. While less of us, there is more of the younger crowd at the parties, good to see the traditions keeping on.

It's great seeing the families on here celebrating, and to keep in touch with people with common hobbies.

Hoping everyone heals what is needed, and have a great Christmas with whoever is around you.

Limited success with pump exchange. Two possible solutions, but both involve having to buy new fittings, but I really don’t want to make multiple trips to buy. Even got 2nd opinion to confirm.

Will host a low key Happy Hour here for those with nowhere else to go.
