Hello, good morning !
Time to wake up already ! :)

Here around 0 C, fog

head is still a bit dull (BTW in Latvian "dulls" mean "stupid", 😁 that's not in literal, modern language, but old people say so). But that feeling might be from sleeping too much
Does't feel fit for great outdorr activities. Put my guy in cabrio-tractor, to brush office's backyard
There is a lot of ice on bricks

But that setup - plow at front and brush on 3p works rather well

So I am in office, have to recover some office jobs. Frankly not much. Market is low, considering it's December - very-very low

Daughter yesterday was in police. I went mad - she had to skip few lessons. But it was on her. Police investigator were calling her, very politely asked for time best fit for her. And she jumped straight out of desk.
So she had to tell to her teacher where she is going. Teacher went crazy, sent her to school's counselor.
As I have understood, at beginning plan was to keep it away from that "mindfooooker". 😁 Now professional will talk to her. And she will have some more lessons learned 😁

Have a nice day !
Go to Infernal Affairs and tell them you really do not want to file a complaint, but that procedures were violated, and you will go the formal route if your daughter is contacted in violation of proper procedure again. Maybe ask how such unorthodox methods can jeopardize this — and other — investigations…

gets the message across without going full “official complaint”.

Best Friends Daughter had her first, a girl, so happy for them, great couple.

Be well,

The light ball I welded up before last Christmas is still holding up well.

See if you can get RSV, that knocked me down a good 25lbs. :)
Or a good GI tract infection — go directly to the source, no need to involve respiratory in the process 😂🤣😂🤣

Good morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).
21.4F going o maybe 50.

Running around yesterday successful, but ran long, did not get dogs up to woodlot, May take a run today depending on how last of the decorating goes… but I think it will likely be an energy conservation day for the most part.

not a lot to report otherwise, I was planning on doing a bit of hunting this morning, but I woke up at 2AM and never fell back asleep, so I cancelled that plan.

i hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!

29 going to 51, never made it out of 40s yesterday.

Ron, reminds me to check the ROPS bolts, too. Where I used to park my tractor, I always had to lower the ROPS to fit under, so then had to raise them and tighten bolts every use. Since our horses are gone, have a better place to keep tractor, and haven't touched them for several years.

Scott and LS, real pretty Christmas decorations. Happy Birthday to your son and GD, LS.

I caught my wife's cold...first one I've had in years, IIRC. Tried to "hike it out of my system" yesterday, and I actually felt much better afterwards, but not now.

I don't know why my truck windshield still develops a light foggy film on the inside after all these years...don't really notice it except at night with headlights approaching, and then usually forget by the next morning. Cleaned it up real well yesterday...and all the other windows.

Plan to search for the Geminids shower tonight.
I have wondered about that inside "fog"..... both the truck and car get that buildup, both Nissan. Never had this happen on all the other vehicles we have had.

I'm not talking the normal humidity fog when it's cold out, this happens in summer too! Exactly like you described.... see it in headlights or the sun glare. ???

I think you are seeing a film from the plastics off gassing?

Good morning! Low of 27°, supposed to go up to 38°. The forecast last evening did not expect the snow in our area until this evening around 17:00 ---- nope ! Started here about a half hour ago.....

Forecast is for 3-5" today, another 4-6" tomorrow, warnings in effect until Friday morning.

This will definitely affect the well laid plans for today.....going to try and adapt the itinerary....

Scootr, I suspect that it is 'off gassing', but the car is a 2014, the truck is a 2019. One would think that the plastic gave up it's ghost a few years ago..... I don't know about plastics.......

Wng, hope you get over the crud quickly.

Dennis, how is the wife's wrist? Hope not too much pain.

Mostly, hope all the paperwork and such goes smoothly. Prayers and thoughts still heading your way.

Everyone have a great day!

reminds me to get that RSV shot. I think I had one last year. ?
I lost 30 pounds when I got cancer. I'll pass on that weight reduction program.

successfully picked up package off friend's porch, I'm now a confirmed porch pirate.
will put everything in my freezer til they get home this weekend.
then went to Newtown and got my car washed; after which they told me I only have to ask for senior
discount to get 5 off.
thanks for telling me that afterwards...

Lost 25 + pounds on Keto diet the last 6 mos. Think I'm leveling off not at my fighting weight lol.
A cold and wet 37º this am... going to a warm sunny 76º today.
Plans to add some weight to the rear of the industrial Ezgo cart today. Trouble with the graveled hilly drive after losing 300 pounds in the lithium battery conversion, Ugh.
Must get out and pick rocks out of the recently disced and smoothed out field next door before the weeds get a good start hiding them for the mower to find
Have a great day everyone!

66°F and .33 inches rain, forecast to rain this morning.

Good day mowing yesterday, Hilo end finished, 2 mid sections done.

Need to investigate why the scag doesn’t start. Drove it into its parking stall, but now just cranks, but not start.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Dr visit went well, more a quick talk. He will virtual next time.
Wife’s wrist getting better. Still hurts but not as bad. Think she’s start doing some of her weight exercises.
Stopped at sub/pizza place for lunch. Been awhile since I’ve been here.
Still seeing snow in the shade.

Thanks for taking care !

Seems it will be no necessary. Investigator was really polite and promised to not disturb her anymore.
Fingers crossed

They (police) are pushing this case on fast lane as it has gained public momentum. People are looking for swift justice.
Frankly I can't imagine what outcome there could or should be. that "pilot" is 91 year old. For sure he has lost his track of space and time.
Big questions are to his doctor, who signed his permit. But here we dont have any legal responsibility for such docs
But meantime one beautiful girl is killed and smart boy is at risk to stay in bed till end of his life.

I think it’s partially from our breathing. Years ago we had a neighbor, heavy smoker. We would take her someplace from time to time, she’d always sit directly behind me. While not allowed to smoke in the car, the crap in her breathing was quite evident and it seemed the windows fogged quicker.

Good Morning!!!! 46F @ 6:30AM here in Butte County. Sunshine to start, then a few afternoon clouds. High 64F. Winds light and variable.
Light & variable seems to include gusts to 25 MPH, enough to slam the metal flap in the range hood loud enough to wake me up. At 2AM.

Yep, plastic and other solvents/paint off gassing. It's happening on both the Dodge and Toyota here.

Mostly smooth trip home, except for a motorcycle wreck in Sacramento, and another suicidal motorcyclist that split lanes between another truck/trailer combo and I with at least a 40 MPH speed differential. And I wonder why my motorcycle insurance premiums keep going up.

My back was quite painful Monday as I was trying to load the van, and I had a lot of trouble even getting into the driver's seat Tuesday morning. But I turned on the heated seat first thing, and even though it was a bit too warm at times, by the time I got home the back felt a lot better. Hope it stays that way.

Both of the real beds are now down south, so I spent last night on an inflatable camping mattress. Worked OK, but it's a little chilly. Think I'll add a moving blanket or two as a base layer for some insulation.

Need to get the van unloaded, and ideally washed, for the visit to the dealer tomorrow. 10K mile service and try to get them to fix a few things.

Happy Hump Day!

Good Afternoon Guys,
Ct, 27 to start going to 42 !

Working today, so late check in !
622.2 L = 164.6 US gallons Cost me $1032.05 CDN
Bill , The terminal price for heating oil today , Product 1993, was $2.54 our price before mark up ! We are .75 over that so $3.29 ! So a customer here would pay about $541.00 ! Of course we are only a few miles inland from New Haven harbor and oil terminals !

Hope all have a blessed day !

We called it plasticizer migration back when I was in that industry in the 70’s. It was one of the QC tests. One of the products from the company I was with was the padded dash. One year was almost a disaster in that while all initial QC tests were passed, one supplier made a formulation change. Seemingly insignificant until it was observed that it resulted in severe migration if exposed to direct, intense UV, sunlight. I developed a three part, primer, color, gloss clear coat paint system that could be applied post manufacture, at Dealership. Didn’t fix, only hid/slowed the problem through warranty. Fortunately, it was caught early, the installed parts tracked and fix applied by a traveling team. Uninstalled parts replaced with reformulated (original) material. Fun couple of months. I was still single, lots of overtime. I quit about six months later when my boss got a hefty raise and I got an excuse until I gave notice and left anyway.
