Good Morning!!!! 42F@ 6:15AM. Partly cloudy skies. High 68F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.

I've only been on Medicare (original) for a couple years, but the formulary list for the Part D I have (also Welcare) seems to change quite a bit every year. So you're right on track running down all your prescriptions to find out just what is covered, and what is not. Good luck in your search.

Brian at Fit Right Hydraulics should be able to fix you right up, KJC.

Didn't accomplish much yesterday, just packing a few things for the trip north today. Back was pretty sore from unloading this trip, so got some help from a buddy on this end. Not looking forward to the drive, but will be keeping the ibuprofen handy.

Good morning! 16 degrees and clear this morning. Forecast is for a drier and warmer December, and probably no White Christmas.

Not much deer movement here lately. I have a landowner gun permit. The stream by the property has been dry since summer and I think they're looking for water. I put some out for 'em, but not now, since it's frozen.

I bought and put together a hydraulic trans jack. Zero instructions, but uTube vids helped, and it was pretty simple anyway. I had to go buy an Allen socket set since I did not have the 12mm size, and replacement regular bolts were $6 ea anyway.

I got an email request to review my shopping experience and enter a sweepstakes about my recent shopping trip to that Big Blue Super Store. I don't shop there often (once a month or so), but I do have an online account and have bought some big stuff - free shipping - online. I was concerned how "they knew" about my shopping trip since I used my debit card to pay for it and forgot that I had entered the card as an "optional" payment card on line. I logged in and removed BOTH cards now... I'm surprised they had two cards on my account, since I normally do not "store" my payment info... I feel better now. :)

Wife's wrist not broken. That's good news.

I've been on Rural King email list since I first bought something online from them, before there was a Rural King anywhere near me. I get blasted with multiple emails a day from them, even after doing the Unsubscribe multiple times, and even calling them asking to get removed.

If your email provider has a SPAM filter, you should be able to flag them as that. You might be able to log into that store's account and change your email to some bogus one (unless they have/send a "confirmation request" process).

Had a snagglepuss scare yesterday. Saw a yellow / white cat dead on the road near the house. I drove back by, and it looked to be a shade lighter in color, but I was still worried, until I saw Snagglepuss on the deck this morning. So she got to come in for a nice visit. But another cat killed on the road. Snagglepuss's brother, who we used to let in, got killed on the road last year, he was a nice friendly cat also.

66°F and .07 inches rain.

Nothing of major importance accomplished yesterday. Well I did get the Christmas cards mailed, otherwise just piddling around in morning.

I did get my Temu order with 24v battery charger.

Our Christmas Happy Hour gathering was a success

Today looks like I will finally get back to mowing.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Good morning! Low of 27°, heading up to 47°. Mostly cloudy today, then snow tomorrow afternoon and into Thursday. Haven't heard of expected amounts yet....

Dennis, sorry to hear that the wife fell. Hope just bruised the wrist and quick recovery.

Fritz, sorry to hear about that happening to your son. Hopefully nothing more to follow.....

RNG, have a safe trip back north. Hope you get the mail issue straightened out.

Don, you were colder than us a few hundred miles further north. Strange.

Got the inside Christmas deco put up. A bunch more, but this was the easiest to get a pic of:

Now comes the outside...... not going to do too much....(seems I always say that, then go way over the top...)

Did get some time yesterday to go up to the sawmill. Retrieved just under 50 BF of Ponderosa Pine. Now set to build the cabinet. Haven't finalized size or shape yet....need to get with the wifey.....

Wifey made a pork butt in the slow cooker yesterday for the son's birthday 37th birthday dinner. Turned out fantastic. It is Granddaughter's 15th birthday today.

Everyone have a great day!

Another festive holiday "mini display":

Wifey's collection of 'old world' Santas. Each one is a representation of the Santa from different parts /countries of the world.

The nutcrackers on the mantle are from the Black Forest of Germany. They are 50+ years old.

Good Morning Everyone

Thanks for the continued support, I appreciate it.

Sad ending to this story though I hope someone has fixed it back up. No one took care of it at church, became a non runner, and sold for 600 bucks. That Land Pride mower was almost new....and we all know they aren't cheap. I was utterly appalled at their waste of my donation and it has created a rift that remains to this day, as no one apologized for the terrible stewardship and the waste of an asset. And to make this worse, the only person who could have prevented this, who owned a tractor, who was a mechanic of sorts, and knew how well I took care of things, he apparently did nothing to prevent this. And we would sit side by side at church year after year.
And he hasn't volunteered any explanations either. I'm trying to compartmentalize my feelings and put it behind me.
Folks screw up. But don't cover it up, don't be dishonest.
hard for me to get sour taste out of my mouth. Probably because I had restored that tractor so carefully.
That's rough daugen - you did the right thing, and very generous. Tough to let go of that mistreatment of your donation gift. To a lesser scale, I've been there a few times and it really is a sour experience. I have been told / learned that once you gift something away, it's their's to do whatever with (uggh) ... I've watched, cringed, and learned at those times. Bless You for your efforts and goodness. You'll be fine, but you don't need to still be buddies with that guy who could have corrected things. Peace, in time.

Good morning
28 going to 45 with no snow or rain

Thank you your comments about son
He is doing ok. He did not show police a cut to finger which would have increased the charges. Just glad it did not go any worse. She was a very attractive 25 year old girl.

Helo, glad things are working out
And daughter is taking after father
Our daughter just texted that first trip in new year will be to Latvia
It seems that for your son this episode will end well. Nice to hear 👍

If I remember right, your daughter was traveling at this part of the world. Wasn't she in Lithuania ? Or I mess it ?
Is she with govt or for some business ?

In case she is looking for something particular - you can reach me out, I will help by all means.

But bad thing is, latest forecast says that all that beautiful snow we now have (like 2 ft) will melt down by end of the year. Beginning of year might be dark and wet. ☹️
Actually if she should drive around, that would be better for her
