35F with a mix of sun and clouds @ 12:00, heading up to around 40F for the day's high. Overnight low was 27F so another hard freeze.

Special Weather Alert issued late last night/early this morning for an intense band of heavy lake effect snow moving in with possible whiteout conditions.

Ground was covered by the time I hit the rack, got maybe an inch or so. Largely melted at this point though.

Leaves will be wet so no work on those today.

Woman's car finally threw a code and the CEL came on which may help in tracking down what is going on with it.

Probably work more on softener valve today.

66°F and no rain. Oct was Driest I have on record, just 1.07 inches.

Guessing my paint dried overnight so back to my project. Then on to next. Nothing too strenuous though.

it's really wonderful when the wind blows your leaves somewhere else.

picked up more apples this morning after getting car washed. Place in Newtown is so good,
they clean the inside beautifully, windows sparkle, etc. 25 bucks.

these apples are headed to cider press, they make a lot of fancy apple stuff here, tourists literally suck it up

Took the 5.5 year old all refrigerator to the dump today. Picked it off the deck with the loader bucket and plopped it into the trailer, unceremoniously. $2500.oo down the tubes and the fridge I bought in the summer of 1997 for $600.oo is still going.
