good morning all
rain never really materialized, only .07 on gauge and just clouds for today

am hoping my BIL and his son come over this morning to install the steering stabilizer
on rv. It's not hard to get to, just have to lift rv up, and I can do that by just raising front stabilizer
rams on some blocks. It's the crawling under and working on my back that is too hard on my neck.

still waking up. Billy Horton coffee from Canada is sort of like Maxwell House, ok but nothing special.
My puerto rican blends were much better.

Coffee is cooling in cup. 37° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 50° with sunny skies. Got yard cleaned up. Will need to mow grass again. Installed a hose reel on pressure washer. Washed car. Sure is convenient to have 50' hose reeled up on washer instead of twisted up on a hook. May get grass mowed in afternoon. Then watch some NASCAR..

Check, Tim's coffee is the best in Canada. Not that good in USA.

good morning all. Should be a nice Fall day, in low 60's and hopefully less wind than yesterday.

the only instructions on my pump say 40 psi. Normal is 30. Came with 10 psi.
I'm going to wing it and put in 20 though I will try to google the pump and see if anyone has that spec other than
what I found already. Appreciate the input. I think the accumulator will smooth out the output no matter what I put in it, but
clearly too much is an issue.

Neighbor across the street has a water softener to deal with the acidic water. I'm not spending that kind of money on a rental house.
Hoped that existing filters would help. They really don't. Still have green on sink bottoms, Limeaway and CLR needed to clean it off.
Maybe I'll bite the bullet in the future and get this fixed. I take plenty of extra vitamins and minerals so I don't need more copper in me.

Good morning, the low temp is 35 and going to a high of 46°F. Wind NNW 19 gusting to 34 mph. 30% chance of flurries or rain showers.

There will be zero tarp handling in THAT wind.

There is nothing else on the books for today, just set back and feed the fire.

Daugen, I rent my water softener with a full service contract. Free salt, free repairs (thanks to wonky electricity). Costs me about $50.oo/month. Culligan treats me good.

Just came in from watching the space station fly over. A few clouds, but good northerly view.

Happy Birthday Mr BEF! Hope it's a great day. Re: the organ company, that rail route to/from Goshen is the one we took on the Scenic Railway last October...they made tour bus type announcements along the way to point out history, mountains, places, etc. It just stuck with me.

More string trimming yesterday. Finished the area where the rain chased me away the day before.

Morning all!
47 today with a windy 49 for a high.
Rained all day yesterday so I hid out in the woodshop. Pics attached.
New laptop arrived Monday. What a pain moving everything over from the old one! Took a few hours to get accustomed to Windows 11.
New glasses are on order. Eye shop couldn't repair the old ones so I super glued the lens back in place. Good enough for use till the new one show up.
Got the tractor all serviced and ready for the upcoming season. I did notice the cutting edge on the bucket is worn almost fully. Will call the dealer tm. to see about replacement. I don't think it will last the winter.
Nothing going on medically. Good news for us.
To wet outside for leaf patrol so it looks like feet up and enjoy time.
Might catalog and prepare some of the items I am bringing to sell at the craft show. See what the day brings.

Good morning! 70˚F heading to only the mid 80s with a Southerly breeze and partly cloudy skies.
My wife started getting sentimental so I'm in the On-line bidding in my own estate auction for a few $5-$10 items. Kyle and Kilroy don't have anything to worry about, no sentimental feeling on the items they are bidding on. The bidding ends tonight so I'll expect frantic bidding the last hour - 6-7 PM (It's kind of fun.). the countdown clock is running and it ends about 13 hours from now. God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

47.5F going to upper 60s, sunny all day.

Pumkinfest was fun,except being on this diet meant that the food corral was off-limits…

Couldnt have asked for a more perfect day weather-wise, not a cloud in the account, giant Carolina Blue some Destruction, not too cold, not too warm, just enough breeze to keep it pleasant.

Seems like a lot of people had the same idea we did, because as we left the event and walked down the hill past the Zone of Destruction, most of the pumpkin debris was already gone! It wasn’t even worth coming back for, unlike last year, even though the number of pumpkins rolled was comparable.

winner was a three-year-old girl, just shy of a thousand feet roll.

Todaynafter church will be an excursion over the mountain two counties away to hit some different flea markets.
