Our heat wave seems to be breaking with storms ending Sunday night. We are midway between KY Lake and the Mississippi River. Sounds like Louisville area has power outages.

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 5.4C and it's presently 7.8C (heading to a predicted High of 14C), overcast at the moment and calm.

I'm off to Church in a few minutes.

The 'Mad Agisting Horse Woman' has requested a paddock transfer this arvo... she's feeding with square bales as 'rounds' appear to be hard to come by.

After that, the rest of the day is His.

That's about it, take care all.

We had free tickets to a concert before a local baseball game from a friend who was singing in the group. Was very hot in the sun, so we listened to the music from a shady area above the seating, then our friends suggested going to Chick-fil-a after the music ended and before the game started, so we went. THen we decided to not go back to see the game.

It was still 90 when we decided to head home, but has cooled of to 82 here at the house with the sun going down.

Will try to give away some of our tomatoes at church tomorrow.

Hot one today with Temps getting up to 106°

Rain coming through soon so it should cool things down a little.

2yo grandson got dropped off about 7:30am for a sleepover. Wasn't sure what time he was coming this morning.

I'll tell you what though. That 2yo has a a door knock that will put the police to shame.

I was sitting on the couch reading a book when my daughter stopped by. She let him out of the car and he bailed for the door full tilt and started laying into it.

Scared the dickens out of me and the dog with the pounding. Dog went to the door like she was gonna chew someone up. Then turned into Ms wiggle bottom when we heard a little voice saying "Poppa let me in!!!!"

Let him in the house and sent him in to get grandma up

Anyone with a min-split, any reason why couldn't feed the head unit wires through into garage and then back out to the compressor?

Would sleeve both of the pass throughs. This would save me having to place the 2nd unit 75 feet on the other side of finished basement area. 1st head unit will be in garage, so only one hole for that.

Be well,
If I'm understanding your question you are wanting to route the lines through a couple of walls.
It should not be a problem, mine is a large system with two outside units and seven heads in different rooms of the house. The normal way they like to do that is to run the lines external along the outside walls and into the room on the outside wall.
I had them run mine quite a bit different, I didn't want the external lines and didn't want an outside unit on two sides of the house.
All of my lines come into the basement then run along the main floor joists to below a closet on the main floor and then up to the room units, usually two sets of head lines per closet. Then two sets go up through a closet into the attic and over to a stub wall were my vaulted ceiling rooms are.
The main issue is the condensate line from the head units, your head unit is going to have a condensate pan which needs to drain you can use pans and condensate pumps but gravity will work much better. Five of mine gravity flow down to my basement sump and 2 gravity flow down and out the basement wall.
