great pics Lou, thanks for taking them

RS, I like the factory mower deck skid plate on the CC.
when I was mowing the graveyard at church, I installed a white plastic skid plate in the same place.
did my best not to touch anything but if I did the slippery plastic worked great

Yeah it’s a nice feature.

Easy enough to replace if one gets damaged.

Glad mri went well …

morning , kind of , going up to 85 and cloudy, humid.
Got 2 more sheet rock panels up after sawing and drilling 10 more furring strips.

The plumbers who told me the heating system held 40 gallons, were off by 20 gallons. All drained out and purged. New fill system is on and working.
Old system the pressure tank diaphragm was stuck and the valve itself was not moving well and the screen was clogged.

Now with the sediment filter we put in a few years back, should make the fill system last longer. Might need to replace one of the auto air purges as its dripping, but it was ok before the changeout, so may just need to get the rest of the air out, we'll see.
If I have to drain the system I won't be measuring so that would save time on this process.

Happy Anniversary Kyle!

I get the SodaStream canisters by mail, not really cheap, but soda water prices have gone up enough to make it worthwhile to me.

Anyone with a min-split, any reason why couldn't feed the head unit wires through into garage and then back out to the compressor?

Would sleeve both of the pass throughs. This would save me having to place the 2nd unit 75 feet on the other side of finished basement area. 1st head unit will be in garage, so only one hole for that.

Be well,

Thanks for posting again. Great job on your instructions, with your usual good humor blended in...nice hat and t-shirt.

Why is there a pole across the front door?
I dunno—- that was their stock photo—- I guess to keep the door closed when a fully-assembled unit is delivered.

Not sure that I understand the question, but the routing of the wiring from the outside unit to each head is totally up to you. Same if there are multiple outside units, just so the wire goes from the head to the outside unit, the route is optional, and could run with other wires.

Don, hope knee is better.
It is better thanks for asking. I was worried when I couldn't put any weight on it Thursday but it kind of resolved itself and I was able to work at the estate house today. Something besides the bone spurs and no Cartledge was causing it to act up enough for me to call the DR left a message but did not get a call back. He probably thought I'm already scheduled for surgery and there is nothing he can do.

My motorcycle shop buddy picked me up as planned and we enjoyed delicious but not so healthy burritos for breakfast. Then got a coil, handlebars, and the back half of a headlight shell mounted on one of the bikes he's building for a customer. Was hoping to use his milling machine to slot a piece of sheet metal, but the nub that keeps the collet in the spindle from spinning seemed to be missing. I downloaded the manual for him which seems to show how to take it apart, but that job will have to wait for a better time.
He will need a spanner with 2 pins to unscrew the lower spindle bottom part. Then, the key word is extended set screws from Mcmaster Carr.
Here's the standard sizes, if he has an import, he will need metric.
McMaster-Carr

6 years ago, we endured Hurricane Harvey this week. Everything was already lush and green before it hit. We ended up with about 30" over 3 days, but some places got close to 60"

This video makes my eyes leak every time I watch it.

Ken, I was interested in getting a SodaStream a few years back. Seems there is a challenge getting the gas canisters locally. Might have to relook.
I got my Co2 from academy sports and outdoors where they sell paint ball guns. I used the small Co2 container for the portable MIG welder.
